What a rip off!
I stored a couple interior doors and some dining chairs and lamps etc in a 10x20 unit.. they got me in and then raised the charge to $600 a month the heck? This place is a SCAM! Beware and ensure the rent is locked in at least for some time.

I just had a second break-in attempt on my unit. I believe it has been possible due to a couple of things. The outside door to my inside unit is broken. The handle falls off and the door does not lock, creating easy entry. Also, there are no security cameras in my building, so there is no deterrent to potential theft. Does SmartStop not have the funds to correct these issues?

I’m furious! My unit has increased 3 times in the past 6 months! It’s completely unacceptable! I will be looking elsewhere and moving my belongings ASAP!
