The woman who helped us easily gave us the tracking number and receipt without us asking, she said it'll be by Friday so hopefully it's true.
I was scared of the reviews saying they don't give receipts but it was very easy and I didn't have to ask.

Just walked in with my pre-postaged package, and the man took it, put it in a bin, and said FedEx would pick it up tomorrow around 3pm. In and out, no problems.

Based on the previous reviews, I was expecting to have to fight for a receipt for my FedEx package. But they offered me a receipt before I even had a chance to ask for one.
