I had enrolled my two boys here a year ago. My youngest was showing signs of potentially being on the spectrum and the only lady that was certified was working as a assistant manager with a new director coming in. This led my youngest one being viewed as a “difficult” and get calls almost everyday towards the end of the enrollment. Not to mention but not ONCE but twice my youngest was left by themselves for over 30 mins and Atleast the caretaker was honest about leaving him unattended. The cherry on top was when they brought over a state specialist to evaluate my son at this location but the daycare had them evaluate my other son who was a star student. I ended up taking my two sons out because why should I pay $600/week for them to treat my youngest so bad even though they were the ones who suggested that he may be on the spectrum and that’s how they handled it??? Hopefully they have better staff this time around but this experience made me never want to put my kids in daycare again!!

They scheduled me a tour over the phone and said they had availability. I take a day off from work so I am able to go to the tour, and then they tell me once I get there that they do not have a spot available.

La petite has been nothing but great for us and little one! We started our little March 2023 in their toddler classroom, and as it was his first experience at day care, even though the first few weeks were rough, but the teachers have been really affectionate, loving, accepting and made sure our lil ones feels comfortable and loved throughout the day! And now he is thriving and learning so much in the areas of fine motor skill, pincer grip, communication skills, social emotional skills etc! The teachers are really great at maintaining the class cleanliness and keep surfaces sanitized ! Our lil one now looks forward to go to school, and is happy through out the day! He is starting to use multiple words to communicate that teachers encourage kids in their daily activities! The food menu has good variety of vegetarian options, and kids are encouraged to eat by themselves, use sign language, which we like a lot!We have noticed a slight chaos during the pickup times as kids transition to different classroom based on teachers availability! But the management and the school app notifies parents about their kids transition, so it dint feel like a big negative. The live feed has been really helpful in the initial phase, I love getting updates and being able to check in on him with the live feed.In all we have been completely satisfied with our experience with La Petite.

We started September 2022 and the director at this time was horrible. I contemplated switching daycares everyday. Staff was constantly calling out to where they would have to close classes and I was unable to go to work. Since Mr. Joey the new director took over things have made an incredible turn around! I have not thought about switching since he joined the team. They are back to creating lesson plans, having themed days, the staff seems so much happier in general, he is always creating different ways to improve the school, even smaller aesthetic improvements to the classroom. My toddler loved our La petite in Wisconsin, then when we got here he no longer enjoyed going to this school, now he loves it again now that Mr. Joey is here. He comes home learning new things every day, they’ve been doing such a good job with helping potty train him! The reason for my 4 stars not 5 is the headache we had in the beginning, and we have a more strict parenting style and our toddler respects us, it seems the teachers are required to be more gentle with correction and my toddler doesn’t respond well to this and likes to rebel against them.

My son has been in the infant room for a few months and our experience has been fantastic. Staff is kind, cleanly, and understanding. Facility is secure and clean. I love getting updates and being able to check in on him with the live feed.

Only offering child care if you agree to bring your kid for 3 whole days a week is like only selling ice cream if they buy 100 pounds at a time. This place is evil. Coercing parents into paying for more childcare than they want or need..CREEPY

We had an appointment to talk with them, to have all the information. We connected and were waiting for 45minutes, no one joined to call.We called them, no one answering. We had to call their callcenter to having them calling Mill Creek location and then telling us, oh they just left and forgot about the appointment. How do you want us to consider putting our kid there if from the first appointment they are not respecting the us? They can at least call and postpone, things can happen. This is not professional in my opinion

Our daughter attended La Petite Academy of Mill Creek for 4 months at the same time the new Director took control and we have seen that the quality has worsen. Some of the worst things we observed are, the academy is closed sometimes without prior notice due to staff unavailability and the parents are sent home with the kids because the classes are full. The kids get sick often due to the hygiene problem. Some of the teachers are nice but the management is very poor.

I don't leave 1-star reviews if there are any redeeming qualities, but our brief interaction with this daycare demands it.We scheduled a virtual tour which apparently gets automatically scheduled. But after 10 minutes of waiting for them to join the call, we gave up and called the center. After rather a rude dismissal from the center director who hurriedly passed us on to the assistant director, we were told they schedule tours by call only. Still hoping this was a fluke, we scheduled a tour for the following day.The next morning, hours before our tour was scheduled, we received a call from the director accusing us of missing the tour the day before. After explaining we had scheduled a tour for that morning they seemed confused and offered to schedule it again. We passed. The other 1-star comments all seem in line with our experience. We hope the center undergoes some drastic management rework or children currently attending this location are able to find a new daycare soon.

We enrolled our son here less than a week ago after being thrilled to finally find a daycare with a spot open, only to be terribly disappointed. We showed up for our son's first day on Monday only to be turned away because a bunch of staff members had quit the Friday before and they did not have sufficient staff to take on any more kids for the day. Clearly there are BIG issues going on for that many staff members to quit at the same time. We had turned our enrollment forms in on Thursday afternoon; the day before the staff members resigned. Management neglected to inform any parents of the staffing situation until they showed up with their kids and got turned away like we did. After this fiasco we do not feel comfortable at all sending our son here so I am now trying to un-enroll him and get our registration fee refunded since he hasn't spent a single minute under their care (and never will). There are clearly some major issues at this facility and the staff are not happy with the new leadership who is completely incompetent. I've tried calling 4 times today only to have my call go to voicemail each time. Do not send your child here!

Management lacks basic courtesy. We visited the academy with our 2 year old. It was cold and raining, and we ended up waiting for more 10 mins in-front of the entrance, ringing the doorbell 3 times. Whereas the was a person sitting right near the entrance in reception desk talking on her personal phone. Every-time we rang the bell she would signal us to wait for a minute. What she failed to realized was that where is a child waiting in the cold. It make me wonder how can anyone trust their child with them.

Horrible daycare. Staff scream and wave their arms around at young kids. Use communication completely inappropriate for what should be a safe learning environment. This place is dirty and kids get sick constantly. Daycare closers all the time or they turn families who pay away for short staffing. Billing is a disaster. Daycare director didn’t know how to do her job. I was told for months on my online account and in person that balance was zero and then entire balance thrown at me out of no where when they decide to get their books straight. DO NOT GO HERE !

This post is for the last 4 months only. Prior to that we had positive experience for 2 years. We have seen a major decrease in the comunication and professional behavior in the leading staff. My child has learned a new vocabulary we dont support, he would come home with bruising on his legs with no reports written as to a incident, (was told the kids rough house alot), we would be completley avoided on pick up after we asked staff about the bruising. Waiting and or having to call to get someone to bring our child to the door as noone was at the door to bring kids to parents.. Also we would call no answer then a few minutes later someone would bring him out. I asked for a district manager as the director would not talk to us. Was denied the managers number. We pulled our child out and moved to another school. We did end up getting the manager's number from corporate. I tried to follow up with the district manager and she wasnt interested in calling me back.

Redflag #1 - communication, organization & timeliness - won't go into detail due to character limit but it took many follow ups, promises of information that i never received to get us enrolled. We had a tough time with communication and overall experience from the beginning but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt knowing they are extremely short staffed and it's Covid. We were willing to look past all that and still move forward..Redflag #2 - care & communication with students - I came in that Thursday to drop off paperwork. So glad I came in at the time that I did because I was able to witness first hand what a day-to-day was like. The main room (assuming older kids) was CHAOS to say the least. I understand kids that age are loud, rambunctious and a handful at times but I think the teachers YELLING at them to sit down only added fuel to the fire. I was sitting in the waiting room as the director went to go get a child and could see into the classroom that would be my sons' future room... there a little boy was crying and the teacher knelt down to comfort him as she gave a major eye roll that she definitely didn't expect me to see. At the end she let me know she would "email me tonight" with the final enrollment information/welcome info and to reach out if she had any additional questions. I realized she was very busy at the time so decided to hold off and email her later instead. I sent her an email Friday letting her know 1) that I hadn't received a final email form her and 2) a list of additional questions I had that weren't covered.Redflag #3 - first day - I did not hear back from the Director at all so just showed up on Monday with unanswered questions. Found out that day that I wouldn't be able to accompany my child into his classroom due to Covid or meet his teachers. I get it. I asked when I would atleast get access to their live camera, I finally got access 1 hour after my child had been in their care. I logged in and couldn't see him on the camera but all the other children were eating breakfast and both teachers were tending to them. Finally about 30 mins of actively watching.. I finally see my son appear out of a corner. Crying so hard he is shaking! No clue how long he was crying in the corner by himself for. I continue to watch the camera for another 3 HOURS). What did I see? Him crying the entire time, the teachers not once comforting him. He had a total of 3 interactions with the teacher in gray. She walked up to him and patted him on the head then walked away. There were countless times that she avoided him as he tried to approach him for comfort. The other one in red, who happened to be the same teacher that rolled her eyes the previous week I came in, didn't even acknowledge him ONCE the entire 3 hours he was there. After watching my son get NEGLECTED (yes, I'm choosing to use this word because I have spoken to many mothers with kids in daycare and NONE of them have received this type of behavior and called this neglect as well) for 3 hours, I drove in and picked up my son.Redflag #4 - blame game - obviously upset when I picked him up the director 1) told me that kids all react differently to changes like this. I agreed and expected this 1000000% but I also EXPECTED that the teachers would provide comfort & assist with this transition. 2) she said she had been up front and not in the room so was unsure what was going on in the room. Why does it matter if the director is in the room? You should always know your teachers/staff are taking care of the children whether you're there are not. 3) she said that the teachers tried to console him initially and he wouldn't let them. THAT WAS 3 HOURS AGO??? So you attempted to console my child ONCE and then just proceeded to let him cry for the remaining ours due to your initial failed attempt? Do I want someone to drop everything and focus solely on my son - no! Absolutely not. But as a daycare professional, you should be able to multitask and comfort one child while stil
