“A great find. Nice clean units and they had a few specials in larger units that will save us money as we only need for a short time. Free moving truck ua for move in and future use for $50 plus 0.99 per mile. Christina is very friendly and actually her family lives in the property so there is monitoring of the location by them along with the cameras throughout the property. Very honest, caring and helpful.”

I needed as box truck rental, as I was working on an event with Cascade Bicycle Club and traveling via airplane from Wisconsin to do so. Blaine was so so helpful and accommodating, helping me decide what truck would be best and making sure a truck would be available on our given dates. I felt very reassured that everything would be great when I arrived for our event and getting the vehicle, and it was. Would certainly rent from them again - thank you Blaine for all you did to make our event a huge success!”

“Recently picked up a truck for a quick move a few heavy stuffs. Book in advance- that's important. My pick up time was at 9am, right when they open. The truck was ready. Easy paperwork and I was out in less than 10 mins. They charge $0.99 per mile on top of the rent. The service was just great. Very friendly staffs. They will explain the policies, process and what to be done while returning. Just one sign - that's all you need; rest is online. Quite a great experience. Recommended this place.”

“This place and driver Don are my absolute heroes!
I purchased a used backhoe a few towns away and suddenly everything fell through with how to get it home. The one guys trailer was broken and being repaired for who knows how long. I couldn't rent a large enough trailer for it to haul myself and also had two disintegrated tires on my dump truck. Craigslist haulers didn't have trailers that could deal with 15,500 lbs. I Googled Everett and Snohomish heavy equipment haulers and every company that returned my calls and online quotes and queries were out of state and wanted way too much.
Finally the guy I bought the backhoe from suggested I call a guy whom then suggested I call Bobby Wolford Trucking and boom! No more worries! Don was so cool and friendly and accommodating! He figured out how to wiggle getting my backhoe home into his busy schedule and got the job done quick , clean, and even earlier than expected. I will probably never need to haul anything like this again, but if I do, I sure know whom to call! If you need a hauler, you should call them!
Thank you guys (and gals!) For taking a heck of a lot of stress off my shoulders and getting my backhoe home!
I saw some low rated reviews from people about Wolford drivers being "reckless" on the road but that didnt bother me. My dad drove long haul and I have friends that drive big rigs. I have seen and heard with no end to the ridiculousness that people pull driving around haulers. Most people on the road these days are arrogant or severely lacking road skills and are not respectful around big rigs, ultimately causing their own misery. Your ton and a half of Prius and 11 lbs of entitlement is like a fly buzzing the bum of a bull weighing up to 40 tons.”

I want to be crystal clear: this review is for the official U-Haul store in Kenmore, WA (not the small gas station rental nearby). I used This Uhaul for *my junk removal & handyman / mobile auto body repair/auto glass replacement business* last winter, 2025.
I’ve been around a lot of businesses in my life. I grew up working on cars, spent over 15 years in the collision repair industry, and I’ve lived in Kenmore and the surrounding area for decades. I’ve rented from many U-Haul locations and other truck companies, and none of them even come close to this one.
*The manager, Mike Phillips*, sets the bar for what customer service should look like in today’s world. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this wasn’t about squeezing out profit — this was about people, respect, and integrity. He went above and beyond in every possible way, making the process easy, fair, and even encouraging. If I could give Mike and his team 10 stars, I would.
For me personally, this experience meant even more. I’m 32 years old, and my life has been defined by both highs and lows. I was once a multi-sport athlete with Division 1 scholarships in basketball and football. But after tearing my ACL, MCL, and suffering a broken back, those dreams ended early. Since then, I’ve battled herniated discs, kidney disease, and other health challenges. I’ve had to rebuild my life piece by piece.
Starting a business has been my way forward — a way to support my family despite these setbacks. Walking into this U-Haul, I could have easily been taken advantage of because I’m new to this side of things. Instead, Mike and his staff treated me with empathy, fairness, and professionalism that is rare to find today. They gave me confidence when I needed it most, and honestly, they gave me hope.
The trucks are clean and well-maintained, the staff are kind and efficient, and the communication is excellent. But it’s more than that — this team operates with humanity. They understand that life isn’t always easy, and they meet you where you’re at. That’s not just customer service. That’s leadership.
From me, my wife, and my family: thank you. I will never go to another rental company again, because I know I’ve found the best right here in Kenmore. This location isn’t just the best in Snohomish or King County — it’s the gold standard for U-Haul nationwide. Mike Phillips, you deserve recognition far beyond this store. U-Haul corporate should take note — because leaders like you don’t come around often.”

“Im active military. Best place to store your things with climate control. And they also have P.O. Box for rent. It's betterr than having one with the post office when deployed. The US post office closed mind mid-deployment cause I couldn't pay while I was deployed with limited bandwidth.”

“20' Truck was available as reserved. Truck smelled pretty fishy, but was in decent shape and the lady who assisted me with my reservation was great! She even included moving blankets and a dolly for free, not that I needed them. No issues with the rental, would recommend this location.Word of warning - if you're in a hurry, do not fuel up at the Food Mart / SAS gas station down the street at the end of your rental. It is tiny (hard to maneuver), and you can't pay at the pump - in fact you have to pay with your credit card, then go back in and ask for a cash refund for any amount you didn't use (?!?)”

“There was an issue with our truck, but it was communicated to us beforehand and a discount was issued. Truck ran smoothly and the staff was helpful. Service was slow due to a lot of customers and not many workers, but that’s not a deal breaker for me. Just plan ahead of time when arriving to pick up/drop off.”

“I had a hitch installed on my sedan this week and it was an overall wonderful experience. My vehicle is neither common nor easy for hitch installation and Jake did a quick and quality job with the installation. The only frustration with my experience was that Uhaul doesn't offer a shuttle service and public transportation doesn't go within 40 minutes of my house. So, I had to wait at a nearby coffee shop until installation was complete. Thankfully, it was done in about 2 hours and I was on my way with a hitch that should last as long as my car does.”
