I had an estate account that had concluded, but I was missing one piece of paper to close it, so left it alone for nearly a year, not paying any attention to it. I check back nearly a year later and they have suddenly started charging the account a service fee, leaving me with half of my balance than when I started. I made an appointment immediately to close the account, and sort out why I had been charged monthly fees when I was told that the account wouldn't be charged fees by two tellers, I never received any notification of the fee starting, and I have several other Chase accounts, in excellent standing for years and years... so why charge me on this account? I sat down with Benjamin who disregarded all of my concerns about not being notified, or being told that it was a fee free account by other employees, or that I am a customer of chase on other accounts, and he just kept trying to make petty small talk while seeing if he could reverse any of them. "Nope couldn't do it, but maybe I can do the last month or two... There you go. I mean you want that right? I can take it back!" (I wanted to walk out I was so pissed that he joked about taking the 1/10th he was going to refund, and take it back.) He refunded me $24 of the $200+ they took in fees. Is it my job to have to advocate for myself at this bank? I should have told him to get me in touch with someone that could gets all those fees refunded. I felt so disrespected by the jokes or whatever Benjamin thought he was doing. I'm going to be cancelling my other accounts and credit cards. I don't want to be associated with this business.

Needed the services of a Notary, needed one page signed. Despite having two notaries working, they both said they were too busy and I’d have to schedule an appointment for another day. Only a few customers in the branch and I’d already waited 10 minutes. Certainly seemed like their customer service could have been better.

Very rude almost prejudice young lady at the front desk today at the monroe branch.Went in to inquire about opening a business account only to be informed by first her facial expression and then her quick response that I would not be getting any help with my request because they where to busy to help me at least for a few days. I could already feel i would not be getting any help before even speaking with this very rude almost prejudice young lady employee. If I was white I may have been treated right by this "employee "

Had to make an appt to see someone to open acct. they had only 3 workers there. And the acct person is fully booked. They don't have a restroom they said go to fredmeyers. Decided to look into another bank. The $250 they would give is not worth it.

This Chase branch is so friendly, I am always helped within minutes, and even with annoying notary work needing done the staff always takes time to help me and still offer patience with my little children! The branch manager Sherry made sure I was able to deposit a check with no hold. Surgey is always fast and helpful remembering me by name as well, only being a new customer since last year. You will not find nicer bank employees then this Chase Monroe location. I always feel welcomed here.
