I really like this Goodwill and find a lot of treasures, but why only four stars you ask? Because there have been many times when I've wanted to drop off donations, but when I arrive, the intake is closed due to staffing issues.
This can be very frustrating, especially when your next stop is to pick up your weekly grocery order, but now there's no space in the car to put the bags.
However, there is a small workaround; if you only have clothes and other non-breakable items, inside the store, on the left side of the door, is a drop off bin where you can deposit some of your donations.
The other thing I do is to call ahead to make sure the donation intake is open and operational during the time I'm in town running errands.
Other than that, the store is clean and has everything from furniture to figurines and the staff is very nice!
Thank you.

I've been to Goodwills in other places and many are disorganized and devoid of anything worth buying. Monroe Goodwill on the other hand, is well organized, clean, and often has what I want. Best thrift store I've been to.

Pros: the customer service is usually friendly, the store is clean and organized, and is a good size.
Cons: be prepared to sometimes wait about an hour to donate anything, just about everything is way over priced, and you have to wait a long time for an associate to unlock a dressing room.

I had too much fun shopping at the Monroe Goodwill today, and was treated to all kinds of great finds 😱 and world-class customer service from Skye, Holden, and Elven. They all went out of their way to welcome me, help me find what I was looking for, and carefully bag my order. Our cat says thanks for the Pusheen! 10/10, would definitely come back to this location..! 💜

If you're in the mood for a treasure hunt but you're too broke for a metal detector, Goodwill is your place. It's like a thrift store version of Walmart, but with less screaming children and more questionable fashion choices. You can find anything from a slightly used toaster to a pair of jeans that might have survived the 80s. It's a place where one man's trash is literally another man's treasure. The smell? It's like a mix of your grandma's attic and a high school gym locker room. But hey, that's the smell of adventure, my friends. And let's not forget the thrill of finding a designer label hidden among the racks of polyester. It's like finding a diamond in the rough, except the diamond is a slightly stained Gucci t-shirt and the rough is a sea of Hawaiian shirts. And don't even get me started on the book section. It's like a graveyard for forgotten bestsellers and self-help books that didn't help anyone. But who knows, maybe you'll find that rare first edition of Harry Potter... or at least a cookbook that doesn't require you to use an oven. So, if you're looking for a shopping experience that's a little less Nordstrom and a little more... well, Goodwill, then this is the place for you. Just remember to bring hand sanitizer

Really need to get your donation situation under control multiple times I've been told they don't take stuff that I have purchased from the goodwill. Staff is very rude also.

Good clean store with fitting rooms. Thought shoes are very expensive ? If you are looking for good quality shoes, they would put a price tag over $20! It’s not affordable even for people with good incomes!

First of all, prettiest goodwill location I’ve ever seen with the evergreens surrounding, wow.
Good selection with decent prices, I didn’t get too lucky today but I left with matching wifey/hubby mugs and a cute pink woolly sweater ($10 = $5 color of the week) that made me happy :)

Tons of pointless use of plastic out of nowhere? I've continued shopping here despite rising prices because it's an environmentally ethical way to source things, and now they've started putting everything in plastic zip lock bags. Why. So dumb.

Fine store, but cameras can see into the dressing rooms so that's kinda creepy.

Prices are outrageous. I walked in to buy a used shelf only to find one like it at Walmart for less. Used designer clothing is almost the same price as when it was new. Unfortunately cannot even afford to shop here anymore.

NOT A PAID REVIEW!!!!!!!!!It looks like Goodwill finally got the hint. THANK GOD ?????? All of the clothes were priced way lower than I have seen in a long time. They have returned to the definition of thrift. I found a sweater there for 1.99!!! I'll definitely be back while the prices are reasonable. Thank you Goodwill for making your items more affordable again. My family had more fun during this trip and left with more items than I was willing to buy previously. The store was clean and the staff were great! Just hoping it stays like this and it’s not all a façade for the time being. Hope this helps everyone thats looking for a quality store to shop at.
