I must express my growing disappointment with the mail carrier service at this post office. For nearly a year, I had no issues receiving my mail. However, for the past month, mail delivery to my residence has abruptly stopped. I was later informed that the reason was an alleged dog bite incident involving a carrier.
This claim is entirely inaccurate. While I do have dogs, the only one present at the time was a small, blind and deaf pug who posed no threat. In fact, on the specific day the substitute carrier reported a problem, my daughter and I were outside, and the carrier handed the mail directly to me without any issue. More importantly, none of our dogs were even home at the time—they were at a grooming appointment in Puyallup.
I was not notified of the delivery suspension until nearly two weeks later, when I visited the post office in person to inquire about the situation. I explained what had actually occurred, and the postal representative acknowledged that the incident had not been serious and that the carrier had not sought medical attention. I was told that I should have received a letter in my mailbox regarding the suspension, but to this day, I have received no such notice.
As a result, I’ve had to rely on the Informed Delivery app or physically visit the post office daily just to retrieve my mail—an unreasonable and inconvenient solution to a situation that was never properly communicated or justified.

Everything just gets delivered to the post office instead of your home. Defeats the whole point of having things delivered to your home. Oh and your mail will just be given to other address. So hopefully your neighbor looks through their mail before opening it.

I am not sure what's going on, but I do know that this little Post office needs some serious help. The building is way to small to support the recent growth of the area. I know they are over worked and need more help. This little Post Office needs a lot, a lot of what exactly, I couldn't say. But what I do know is that in the last couple years the service has deteriorated. This last month has been straight awful. I feel sorry for the employees.

I must say that since the Post Master “Tawny” has been out, the service has gone below acceptable at this little PO. Huge attitude from the scruffy bearded dude and a total “can’t do” demeanor. So disappointed with the current counter people. Hopefully Tawny will be back soon.

Mossyrock Post office SUCK!!! Now with new people in the office, everything had to change. No matter what you ordered, everything going to be sent back to the company whether it's important or not! That's BS!!!! Why the change?!?! Why make it difficult when some or most companies do NOT accept PO Box addresses but you're stuck using the physical address. But then knowing with this new change, it will not be delivered to you, it will be sent back to the company you purchased your stuff. The Mossyrock post office used to be a smooth-running post office and now it sucks!

Everything used to go completely smooth when the old employees used to work there, but ever since they got replaced, everything went downhill. I once had my package sent back only because it had my address on it and not my P.O. Box, but regardless, if the old workers still had worked there, i would've gotten my package, and everybody would have a great rest of their day. I wanted my package sent to my house, so i didn't include a p.o. box number on it! But as soon as i saw it was delivering with USPS, i knew it was gonna be sent straight to the post office because they don't put an effort to deliver to houses! I can't choose which company I want to deliver my package, so i find the fact that my package was sent back because of something i DID NOT do is insane to me.

I had a package incorrectly routed through Mossyrock to Vancouver. In my attempt to find my package, I ended up speaking with Tanya. She went out of her way to call Vancouver, find my package and get it routed back to me. She kept in contact with me over the few days this took, giving me updates and finally a confirmation picture of my package, relabeled, showing it was on its way. At any point Tanya could have redirected me v. helping me and I am very thankful that she didn't. I have not had customer service this good in a very long time. Thank you Tonya and Mossyrock!

I'm not a huge fan of the USPS; but this PO is full of hard-working, friendly and expedient ladies. I so appreciate their friendly and helpful attitude, and I am thankful to have such a great little PO in our little town.
