Their service was excellent but they were not clear about the overtime charges for pickup. If the pickup is done at home it takes 2 people so the charge is doubled.

When we lost or son unexpectantly we needed a cremation service and had no idea of where to go. We knew we wanted to be local and after some research we found Alpha Omega in Mount Vernon. They were very helpful and respectful of our situation. Everything was handled professionally and in accordance with our expectations - they made it as easy for us as was possible. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Alpha Omega was fifth on my list of crematoriums to call after my mom passed. All of these places operate the same- you call and an answering service takes your information and then passes it on to the directors, and this is where Alpha Omega showed their professionalism. Every other place I called offered "canned" condolences, and when we said that all we wanted was cremation service and nothing else, they didn't seem to really want to work with us. Alpha Omega was by far the most professional company I talked to- they didn't try to up-sell us on services we didn't want, they were very upfront about all costs and different options that we had, and were able to accommodate our needs efficiently, professionally, and with the amount of integrity you'd hope the company you entrust your loved one's remains would have. They made this difficult time for our family a little easier, and I am very grateful.

To arrange for the final steps in the life of a loved one can be an overwhelming experience. From the moment I first contacted Alpha Omega Burial and Cremation Service to the end of the process they were caring, thoughtful and patient. As we worked through the arrangements, the staff demonstrated a level of knowledge and skill that took the anxiety out of the process and brought things to a very satisfactory conclusion. I highly recommend their services.
