On a scenic hillside in southern Skagit County you’ll find the elegant, yet unpretentious Bertelsen Winery. This family-owned winery first opened its doors in 2014 and is co-owned and managed by second generation Skagitonian Steve Bertelsen. You’ll immediately notice the welcoming and friendly environment that defines the winery as you approach the property and enter our tasting room. Our winery is truly a labor of love and built on a desire to create a place where everyone feels at home. We pride ourselves in creating excellent wines at an affordable price. We source all of our wines from Washington State from multiple vineyards and AVA’s. Steve and his father Richard are selective in the growers and the varietals they choose.

We went to the annual car show here, and it was amazing! The food was delicious and the wine and drinks were also.

The service in the tasting room was very impersonal. We got a flight and a frosé. I was disappointed the frosé was in a single use plastic cup.
