It is a great place there are so many different hikes to go and there are so many great things to see and you can choose if you want and easy or hard trail

Love how they have 2 look outs places overlooking the Skagit Valley, many trails and not far from. I-5!
Over 10 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails spread throughout 522 acres of forested parkland just 5 minutes from downtown Mount Vernon. The two scenic viewpoints at the 934 ft summit can also be reached by a 1.5 mile paved road to the top where visitors can overlook the lower Skagit Valley and beyond to Puget Sound, the San Juan Islands and Olympic Range. More information including driving directions and trail maps can be found our website. Please note that while the park's trails are open from 6:00 AM until midnight, road access to the summit is limited to 10:00 AM until dusk. Trails at Little Mountain Park are built and maintained thanks to local volunteers from the Mount Vernon Parks Foundation, a private 501c3 nonprofit.
