Great atmosphere very clean. Wasn't overly crowded. I went for the open swim from 12 to 4

Lousy hygiene. Although the old gym was falling apart, there was at least a water hose in the stream room to rinse off the seating area. Not the case at Hoag Rd. Contracted a palmar wart there and the staff didn't care.
The used rags designated for cleaning the equipment after usage, is the epitome of gross.
I certainly don't like dumb teenager employees bossing me around either.
"Non Profit" is deceptive because the upper echelon rakes in the dough.
Good bye forever

The pool is fairly small and most stuff isn’t open until later in the day. It was open swim (for everything, nothing was reserved). I asked the lifeguard closest to the lap pool if we were able to jump in since it was open swim time. She said yes, so for about 5-10 minutes we were playing on our section, just doing handstands, swimming around, etc. she then comes up to us tells us it’s only for lap swimmers, then leaves (I’m assuming on break or switching positions). We don’t say anything and go back to the lazy river. Not even 2 minutes later another group of 3 are swimming in there, hanging out at the same spot we were, doing the same stuff. The new lifeguard looked at them and didn’t say a thing, so we went back to another lane near them and played. To which there was no issue.

Excellent place, 100% family atmosphere and above all with a great purpose, I don't know if it has a motto, but it is very helpful, regardless of who, the facilities are also of quality and the cost is worth it ? service 10 out of 10 .

I recently visited the Skagit Family YMCA to sign up for a membership and had the pleasure of being assisted by Dena. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me navigate their website effortlessly. Additionally, she assisted me in setting up my online account. It was such a friendly interaction, and it truly made my day. Thank you, Dena!

Um .. the lady who has really short brown hair that works in the front desk is rude…. I don’t appreciate how snarky her attitude is towards me and my family that comes through ?, I think it’s unreal how she treats us sometimes. We let it by pass us because our kids love coming here but it’s really disturbing and frustrating…

This is a horrible place for Senior Citizens! We pay for the pool and it's free for the children. They put children over old folks!!! Pretty often without almost any notifications they put children in the teaching pool area for the time reserved for Senior Citizens. Stay away from that "beautiful aquatic" location. Their Lazy River has sharp yellow plastics on the bottom of it and it hurts when you step on it. I got hurt by stepping on them and had to go to see a doctor. Doctor said, I permanently hurt my foot. There is one sharp spot on the bottom of the Lazy River, which is impossible to see it when you walk.

As a lifeguard, swim instructor, and swim team member I’m at this facility a lot. While it has some issues, as a whole it’s a large upgrade from our old pool. As an employee in the aquatics department, they are very understanding and the managers are wonderful. As a swim team member, the pool itself is nice and a good temperature, however the pool deck can be quite warm. If you’re not used to the pool water it can hurt your eyes (I’ve seen a few complaints, which is understandable), but as someone accustomed to the water it’s fine. Overall, the locker rooms are pretty nice and there are always available lockers in the women’s locker room.
My review is only of the aquatics department, I rarely use the other facilities. That being said, it’s frequently very busy causing us to cap the pool (which is usually outside of our control, hence why I still rated five stars as I see the employee side of things).
