I go into this store frequently with a rowdy 20 month old. All the employees are helpful. However, Samuel goes the extra step. He is kind and intuitive. He has loaded my horse feed and assisted me in unloading it into my car. Without me asking, he as offered an extra hand. I can't say enough nice things about him. Please give him a gift card or kudos. I have seen be kind to other customers as well.
The only thing I wish for the store is more.red carts to put children in the front. There were only 2, and they were being used.

Bought a supposedly brand new Troy Bilt rototiller. They deducted several hundred dollars from the $999 asking price due to the fact that it was a slightly used tiller. When we got it home the engine started fine but the wheels and tiller would not engage. Removed the cover and found that the belts were old, frayed, off the pulleys and the shaft bolt was loose. See picture. We will not be buying anything from Tractor Supply Co. in Mount Vernon, Washington again.

A bit frustrated with the store. Went yesterday, 2/29/24 looking at fencing and some chickens. While looking for some hog panel in the back; saw they had a big brooder full of Easter egger chicks. Asked up front if they were for sale, employee said they will on sale tomorrow. Cool, no problem, needed to come back with the truck for fence panel anyway. So I show up first thing this morning at store open, and turns out an employee bought all the Easter egger chicks the night before and took them home before they even went on sale! I get maybe getting first dibs on a few chicks but to just be allowed to buy the whole lot of a sought after breed of chicken is not how they should be running this place. Frustrated because I wasted my time hustling to get over there early.Aside from this the employees are generally helpful and did help me load up the truck with panel, and answered a lot of my questions. Store has a decent stock, albeit a bit pricey.

Dude is sitting there chatting up a cop about random laws (?????) While I am obviously trying to find an item and there was only 10 minutes before the store closed. Obviously noone could find the thing even though it said there were 9 available I biked there just to get these nuts.

Samuel is my new hero in Mt Vernon. Last night the wind blew over my new chicken coop (previously assembled and delivered by Tractor Supply). Not wanting to repeat that event, I walked into the store seeking a creative solution. The cashier summoned Samuel. We discussed the problem, brainstormed some solutions and agreed on a plan of small fence posts and bolts that fit the tools I own and the size of the coop. Drove home, secured the coop to the ground just in time for darkness. Thank you Samuel, for helping me understand how to repair the coop myself!

A little pricey. But what is not these days. My complaint is when I drove out the back way the side door on the steps is absolutely ? discusting. I get the homeless is looking for cover but the mess they leave is just awful. The entire strip mall there is just nasty. Put a gate up so they can't enter.

What a large store! This place was very clean, employees were friendly but the prices on some items seemed a little high. Overall a nice place with lots to offer from clothes to baby chicks!

App is useless. So is curbside pick up. Nobody ever answers the phone and texted links don't work. Getting real tired of being disappointed.
