My only complaint about this P.O. is the considerably long line/wait at times. It needs a larger space and more clerks. Having said this, I'm always greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who do a thorough job and never make me feel rushed. The two long term female clerks are especially pleasant and helpful.

Out of all the post offices I've been to in Washington state.. Mt Vernon's is my favorite. Very friendly and helpful workers. I've never stood on line for more than 15 minutes.. And that was at Xmas time!

Great customer service but people are not ready when they come in!! So the person sits at counter and writes all there certified stuff then put on envelopes? Customer should go to side and do this so 3 people can get thru the line. Today 8 people lined up during this. Again the people are wonderful but move the people over to finish! If you have certafied things to send have them ready! Directions are on here.

Somehow they let the master parcel box key get stolen, affecting an entire zip code. The post office has done nothing to solve this issue. Mail theft is continuing to happen every day, even during hours of daylight. The has been no action take to resolve this issue. Only suggesting customers retrieve their mail daily. While talking to a very kind employee at the counter they suggested we hold our mail and pick it up as needed. While I was picking up mail tonight an older male of Asian decent very rudely told me I was no longer allowed to do this and did not offer any suggestion. Absolutely terrible all around.

Our normal carrier has been off work the last day or so and we got this new person that is just too lazy to drive up to our home. Stuffed packages plus our mail into our mailbox to the point we could hardly get them out. The time this person took to over stuff our box could have driven up to our home in less time. Get better employees that actually care about what they’re doing!! No reason for this at all! I still have to check what’s in the packages to see if anything was damaged! We don’t want someone like this delivering our mail or packages!!!!

Today I was screamed at by the main package handler. They lost a 400$ package and she started to scream at me from across the lobby (even though there were quite a few people in line or at the counters at the time). The actual folks at the mail counter were very kind and helpful but the package handler with medium/shoulder length, brown hair got very aggressive, shouted and stormed off. I was shocked and very uncomfortable. Moreover, nothing got resolved at all. So now I'm out 400$ and got extremely shaken up by the whole thing. 0 stars, if I could.

Delivered my package to the wrong house. Submitted a help request. Never got back to me. Proceeded to send me a survey online as if they did help me.

Absolutely trash service. my package was delayed by them after the company i ordered through guaranteed i would get it on time. the lady i talked to refused to provide any help and told me there was nothing she could do and had nothing but attitude with me. trash post office trash employees. hands down the worst post office ive ever dealt with. I wish they would get shut down because this isnt the first time they have screwed up.

where the hell is our mail, for the 20th time this year? Avon Allen is the worst for getting mail . there are many days in a row we don't get mail. Why? There aren't very many houses on this road, so why? This is supposed to be illegal. And yet it keeps happening. This post office is the absolute worst I've ever see. And Ice lived in 3 States.. . They deserve a minus rating. 1 is too good for them. We are so sick of this crap.

Took me 20 minutes waiting in line to buy a box and some bubble wrap to get mad and go-to UPS/FedEx.If the line is out the front door, 2 people up front is a failure to customers. Needs to be staffed better.

I live in Mount Vernon and a mailman just walked through my yard and I was just out of the shower and my window was open and he saw my undressed and said he could see me as he walked by I don’t think mailmen should be walking through yards close to windows they can use the road or sidewalk then the walkway or driveway to deliver mail. My roomate went outside to see how well you can see into my room and she said he had to have been creeping to see me and it was mortifying for him to say something to me he has long brown hair and he’s skinny
