I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this Safeway pharmacy after my experience today. In fact, I'm switching to a less convenient pharmacy just because I no longer want to deal with this one.For context, I was prescribed some medication on Friday by a doctor's office for pickup to this location. I came Saturday morning, and the person at the counter said they didn't receive anything (she was professional and courteous, by the way.)The doctor's office called the pharmacy again Saturday early afternoon, and when I dropped by the pharmacy later, the guy at the counter said they never received anything. He was curt, and when I tried to show him the phone call record & ask what my next steps could be, he was very rude & said he couldn't help.I stayed there a bit longer to try and have my doctor's office call the pharmacy because my doctor said it was going through (but to a message/voicemail system). The other pharmacist (the gal who helped me earlier) came back and gave me a new number to call. Long story short, my doctor's office couldn't directly get in contact with the pharmacy staff, despite the new number. It was going to voice mail/message, while the pharmacy staff assumed they would have gotten the call directly (or at least they have an established process they were used to - and so this was just out of their norm.)In any case, it put unexpected pressure on me as a patient to try and resolve this issue. What I want to call out is that the gal who was helping me was very calm, helpful, and genuinely tried to offer alternatives for me to move forward. On the other hand, the guy pharmacist refused to help me, said "that's an IT issue, we don't have anything to do with it," and was incredibly rude. While I understand his perspective (e.g., they might be short staffed, they aren't IT, and his pharmacy license could get revoked if he did anything wrong), the poor customer service, brushing my issue off, & being rude honestly affected me more than I thought it would.While at the end of the day, it wouldn't be fair to blame this poor interaction on one person, I can say that my frustrating experience with him is why I've decided to change my pharmacy. It's just not worth dreading having to deal with someone like that again. No thank you.

This pharmacy desperately needs additional cashiers. Every transaction takes 5+ minutes so waiting behind 3 people takes almost 20 mins of your time.

My insurance called they did not pick up the phone, I called, My son called several times and never get to talk to them. Medication very limited and rarely has on stock causing a headache and i keep come back, come back to check in person.

I have used this pharmacy for years - through it's up's and downs. Multiple times including this visit, medications have not been filled in a timely manner. Medications not in "formulary" are not relayed to patients until they arrive. Other medications sent from doctors office can take up to a week to fill. The line is usually long and can take a very long time to get medications that are actually filled. Staff are nice enough, but they are severely short staffed and unable to keep up with demand. When you're trying to care for yourself - yes, the entire system is screwed, but this pharmacy doesn't mitigate it in any regard. Definitely switching pharmacies at this point.

This pharmacy never answers the phone you always have to drive up there waste your time and gas just to find out about your medications they need new employees like the old ones when it was AlbertsonsFYI drove up there went in wasn't a soul there but yet I've been trying to call for an hour and this is happened on numerous times very frustratingI'm changing my review because the new employees there are very helpful very friendly and nice to work with would recommend these new pharmaciststhanks James

I’m totally blown away by this cake. It made our whole day. We ordered VERY last minute, making a request for basic Buzz Lightyear colors and THIS is what we picked up! I am so grateful for the decorator (Corina? I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name!!) But really - we are all stuck home with COVID and my mom went and grabbed this for us and dropped it off and I was FLOORED. Thank you MLT Safeway!

I have had my prescriptions filled by this pharmacy for 10 yrs. They are always helpful and the service is fast. Is there a line sometimes, sure is, they serve an entire community not just one person. i appreciate this pharmacy staff for being knowledgeable and friendly.

update: Complete turn around- floral bouquets recieved today were excellent! There were two very nice bunches - 1 orange Lily & 1 Daisy - both were very fresh, looked great. What a vast improvement over our past purchases!!! If this keeps up then I’d change my 2stars to a 5 star floral department rating! Not for flowers.... every week my boss stops in on his way to work for flowers. The selection of flowers is really really bad. Every now and then there are a bunch that are not dead, but in the last several years, they’ve been moldy, slimy, dead, petals falling off, flower heads drooping, and dead/brown-or even black. I know that it’s the thought that counts, but Monday it was so slimy it felt like a slug had been on it. I have pictures from some of the weeks where we just laughed ... this can’t be, can it? Yet week after week it continues. Christmas week the flowers were nice, and maybe Valentine’s Day. and a bunch of tulips that looked good, but that’s about it. I’d say 49 weeks out of 52 they weren’t good. The odds of getting moldy or slimy or droopy flowers on a Monday morning is HIGHLY LIKELY if you shop the floral department here.

Up until about November 2021 this pharmacy did a poor job. Slow and not having a supply to fill my prescriptions. A new pharmacist has made changes and upgrades to speed and accuracy of available inventory that has made me change my opinion. They are very good now. Occasionally there is one particular worker who is very slow. But nothing is perfect in life. My thought of changing pharmacies has now gone away.
