While Curt and Julie were great, the rest of our move was a complete disaster.90% of the boxes showed up crushed, the items Bekins packed are missing essential components, (we have been sleeping on the floor waiting for this delivery, and now we can't even put our beds together.)There are footprints all over our crushed boxes, and it seems like it will be easier to claim what didn't break vs what did.Total disregard for our stuff. 'Fragile' boxes on the bottom of piles; "this side up" pointing down, and our electric piano was shoved into the back of the truck diagonally, with a basketball net on top it, breaking it into pieces.The driver immediately resorted to the blame game, warehouse workers did bad, your boxes are no good (heavy duty moving boxes from Lowes, and ironically, the bekins supplied boxes were also crushed.) Etc. etc.We are now facing working through pages and pages of claim forms vs getting our new life set up and in order.Google reviews seem pretty clear that this claim experience is gonna be as bad as the delivery was...I am so frustrated and sad by this experience and will be letting anyone and everyone know to avoid this company like the plague.0 out of 5 stars!

Bekins NW is an absolute disgrace. We scheduled an estimate in May and David came out to go through our items and provide a moving estimate. We received an estimate and we're told the moving pickup date would be June 5th. David disappeared for 10 days and then finally got back to us that they would need to push us a month further forward. to July 5th. We called shortly before the July 5th move date to find out that the local office run by Erica (manager) was unaware of our existence. Our move had not even been submitted into the system. She was able to have our items picked up on July 5th and then she was completely out of contact. We attempted to get a bill of lading and make a payment and the office would not return calls or emails. The movers finally showed up 10 days later in Florida and demanded payment to unload. We provided a credit card number and were charged $2500 more than the estimate provided given the fact the delivery was 29 days later than the estimate stated. The movers showed up with no labor whatsoever and we had to hire local labor to unload the truck for my elderly mother who lives alone. It was the worst experience we have ever had with any type of company in our entire lives.

For every move in the last 15 years I have used Bekins. For the past 5 moves it has been the same office and many of the same crew. Curt does the workup and Julie takes care of the "client," me, the hardest part! Every move has involved multiple locations with furniture & boxes going different places; lots of on the spot decisions needed; and tight, limited storage. Your people are patient, careful, respectful, funny, and delightful to work with. In the end we get it done and I am grateful. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. Thank you, Jan

I would never recommend this company to anyone. Bekins scratched every single piece of furniture they handled. They ruined our new sleep number bed. It came back stained, with a hole and they broke parts of the bed that hold the frame together. The computer system box that works the bed didn't come back with the bed either. I filed a claim with receipts back in July 2022, it's now January 2023. We payed for 100% coverage for lost or damaged goods. I'm still waiting..

We hired Bekins for our interstate move. Brian came out immediately for an estimate. We appreciated the prompt and ease of Bekins. The move was very stressful and Brian was very accommodating with our changing requests. The day of the move went smoothly from our point of view. Our driver was communicating along the way. I really cannot say enough good things about my experience with this company. They moved my small manufacturing business from a building with lots of access challenges and a difficult landlord situation.Everyone on the team from the top to the bottom was professional and sincere. I genuinely felt supported by them through the whole process of my move. It was a stressful process for me and my company, but these folks really made it as simple and smooth as it could be.I am forever grateful and would highly recommend them!

Don't use this company! It is shocking how much of our furniture they damaged or misplaced. It's even more shocking how dishonest they are when confronted about it. After I filed a claim, they sent out a repair man to validate the damage. Not an unbiased third party. This repair man wrote in his report that all damaged items were either already damaged at the time of pickup, or that he could repair the item. Very convenient for Bekins. Damaged at time of pickup: The most shocking part of this whole experience is that their list of "damaged at time of pickup" does not match the inventory list provided to us at time of pickup where damage is supposed to be noted. Damage to be repaired: When it came to repair solutions, some were fine, and some we disagreed with. One of the repair solutions we disagreed with was to repair our concrete table by drilling in a piece of wood to the corner and finding a paint that is 'close to concrete color'. The choice presented to us was 'fix it this way, or nothing else'. Lost items: Beyond the damage, they lost items too. One of these items was a purple glass vase. Suspiciously, we found broken purple glass in our wrapped leather couch. When presented with the purple glass they said 'it's not here, so you cannot file a claim against it.' Conveniently, they are not accountable for missing items. They will lie directly to you, and when called out on it they will attempt to gaslight and pretend that it's you, the customer, trying to take advantage of them. They are dishonest, they are disrespectful, and I hope this catches up to them before they take advantage of more people.

We recently hired Bekins Northwest for an interstate move and could not be more pleased! From the beginning estimate with Jon, we knew we wanted to go with Bekins. Jon was incredibly thorough, friendly, professional, and we knew we could rely on him to answer all of our questions and coordinate our move with care. The movers were no exception to this. On the day of the move they took their time (in a good way!) and wrapped and loaded our items carefully. Bekins was communicative about the time of load-up as well as the date that they would be arriving at our destination. Our team of movers were extremely thoughtful on how we could fit all of our items into the storage unit and were able to get it all into one unit, so we didn't need the second! Throughout the process we were very pleased with Jon, Shirl, and the moving crew. We highly recommend trusting them with your belongings and your move!

My family and I were being relocated, as my husband is military. This was our first move and of course nothing went right. I would like to publicly mention a specific worker named Eric, his efforts and his professionalism was beyond words. He went above and beyond for my family, making us feel comfortable. Not to mention his packing skills were on point. Not one single thing arrived broken. This man needs to be recognized 100%. I appreciate this company making this move a positive experience.
