This bank is listed as having an ATM by Google but does not.Umpqua has fewer ATMs all the time and they are far apart leading to having to pay fees.

Angela Guyot and Tracy Haugh are so great! This process has been super easy with them. I've had every question I could possibly think of answered in great detail, since this is a terrifying commitment it is really wonderful to get such service. The rates are great, the information is straight forward, couldn't have asked for a better team. Once you find someone this good you won't want to go anywhere else.

The 800 # to contact the Mountlake Terrace location is actually a sex hotline. How do I contact the Umpqua Bank Mountlake Terrace?

I used Dimi Hartman as my loan officer and she was fantastic! She communicated well and there was no surprises. It was the easiest homebuying process I've ever been through.

Don't bother calling them unless you want to fully apply blindly up front. The issue that I have with this is they don't want to discuss any costs, which vary widely bank to bank, up front. They fail the "world's greatest bank" claim miserably on this front. They claim that I am wasting their time if I don't just apply. I told them I would be really wasting their time and my time if their costs are higher than another bank, so why not just be up front about the general static costs. I can then make an intelligent decision. My decision today was to go elsewhere and I recommend others do as well.

We had several folks we interviewed before we decided to go with Danny. He is professional, knowledgeable and can close quickly and efficiently and without lots of confusion. This is everything when it comes to a large purchase and a highly competitive market when literally minutes count. Meet him, he will introduce you to his team and go over options and get you ready for entering the real estate market in Seattle. He will be patient and will put in with you as many offers as needed. Even in the last moments before the close he found something that would save us money, even if it meant more work for him and his team. They all work hard and they are working for you. I did not feel like a mark or a cog in the wheel, I felt like Danny was our partner in this. Don't waste time on others, use him and his team to your benefit. We put in 13 offers in on houses in Seattle, each more aggressive, but every time we felt good about the terms because Umpqua and Danny had our back.

My wife and I just got married and right away were excited about buying our first home. We went through the application process with Sterling Savings' Home Loan division, and after spending many hours gathering documentation, filling out the forms and such, discussing it with them on the phone, etc., the mortgage officer never followed through on telling us whether or not we were approved. Weeks later, we contested their credit check charge, since they didn't follow through on providing the service that the credit check was for. In response, they did refund the money, but then sent a letter saying that we were approved for the loan but that we declined!! But we never declined anything! We were wanting the loan, and they just dropped the ball!! And why they would lie in an official letter about us declining is beyond me. Bottom line: if your considering a home loan, just avoid Sterling Savings because they are either too disorganized or too negligent to provide the services they say they're offering.
