Alot of out of order washers.

Absolutely gross, moldy, broken down machines since the new owners.(About what, 1-2 years or so since the older gentleman sold it)? Vending machines are always near empty and have expired products, multiple washers and dryers are ALWAYS out of order. I love Moxee and I do my best to support local businesses, but I drive to Union Gap or The Lost Sock way down on Yakima Ave. every week instead of this one. I know quite a few people that stopped going to our little local one and I truly miss my conversations with the older gentleman that use to own it (I'm sorry I forgot his name). You can smell the mold and mildew when you walk in and when it started to effect my laundry by not feeling/smelling clean, I had to find a new laundromat. I also have to mention the price increase after the new owners took over (which was the final straw) as well. It's ridiculously sad to me that i actually saved over $10 (I included the cost of fuel used in my 2007 suv) to go to Yakima Ave Lost Sock Laundromat vs the one a couple blocks away from my home. I've tried going back about 2-3 times over the last year and it has NOT gotten any better (I had gotten a puppy and needed a blanket cleaned quickly a time or two) and regretted going there every time. I know the owners have several businesses (or at least had last I knew) and I wish them success but please put some TLC into the laundromat to bring locals back. (Side note, please take away the needing to pay to get into the bathroom, I've always thought that to be unnecessary here). I update my reviews regularly and would love to change this business to a 5 š if it could be made a 5 star business. I had a lady tell me when I was doing my laundry there once that she brings her farm animals and pets' dirty blankets, etc. there because the machines were already nasty so she didn't feel bad about it. I had people tell me lots of stories like that, so that didn't help me staying.

Wanted to come on here, just so the owners can take notes and can finally be motivated to do something about it. I remember a few years back, there used to be minor issues with some washer but not to the point where it goes out of order. My mom and I went in to wash some pillows and i usually come in every month or every other month to wash all pillows in our house, since our washer canāt really handle the load. We walked in to it smelling a little bit of mold and honestly like a damp garden. There was 4 washers broken, and 1 dryer down. Luckily my mom and I were there first before more people came in to do their laundry, and many had to wait until the next available washer was ready. Also, i tend to use the bigger washer because it is 1) much newer than the other washers, 2) they have 6x load size, and 3) i can get a better result with them. I had to use one of the medium washers, and immediately i noticed there was a smell inside, and when the washer locked and started running, water leaked everywhere from the dispenser. My next issue is the plumbing. Every time, i go in to wash, thereās always a leak coming from one of the washers. After my cycle was done, i pulled out my pillows, and as i was walking to the dryers, i looked behind the unit, and water was EVERYWHERE. under the sink, by the garbage, by the washer. Prices on the dryers, i genuinely canāt complain because they are priced the same as any other dryer, went to many other laundromats in yakima and they all price their dryers from 5-7 mins per Ā¢25. Reason why I am giving this a 2 star is because of the lack of quality and commitment these owner(s) have to offer. The place is not in great condition, the lights are literally at its last breath, vending machines are down, broken, and nothing so customers either have to buy snacks or drinks/water at the Moxee Market or get some from home. AC during the summer is absolutely terrible. literally seeing everyone sweating and ending up in their car for better AC or even heading back home and come back until itās done which i know some people do and it causes more wait time for an available washer. You can tell there is mold inside the washers, inside the dispensers. and especially for the washers that are from the very back, i cannot and WILL NOT recommend anyone using them, you can tell they HAVE NOT done any cleaning or maintenances on them.

I washed 2 comforters. The dryer lint was not removed obviously since my comforters now smell like animals. The floor was filthy and the washers who knows when they have been sanitized. By the way I have no pets.

Will never come here again. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Most of the machines donāt work. There is no one on site to help. The place is dirty, not kept up, machines that should be tagged as ānot in serviceā arenāt and you will lose your money.

Wish there was a couple more larger washers, if you do not get there early enough there is a line.

Whoever owns this Laundromat should be ashamed. First of all, the place has a mildew smell to it but the washers themselves smell awful. I guess that's to be expected from the mold build up in them. Second, the prices are ridiculously high. 1 quarter only gets you 2 minutes in the dryer? This is taking advantage of people just because of lack of options in this area. Oh and if you're going to charge people to use the restroom, clean it up a little.

Lots of black gunk built up in the detergent dispensing flaps. Probably not mold but it's gross. Lots of goop also building up on the inside of the glass doors. Washers look like they're from the early 90's but still work well, despite the goop. The big capacity machines are a great value for large loads. One of the top loaders ate my three bucks.Overall it's fine.

It's a great place to do large loads of laundry and it only take like an hour which is basically a god send.

Need new washers. Dryers are expensive and some dryers give you 5min while others give you 6min for 25cent
