I wanted a cashiers check from a "Joint" savings account for a car dealership. The teller would only generate it in my wife's name as her name is 1st. I had to go to a different branch near the dealership, get that chk canceled and re-issued in my name... Ridiculous hassle for nothing...and she was acting smart by demanding that i add the dealership address!!!

Probably avoid this location if you can and go to another. Staff was nice but the on-site manager will make way for other clients for whatever reason, I'm sure they had an appointment or something but I was being helped out despite being first in the branch and been waiting in their lot for 30 minutes to open. I was in the middle of being helped by a specialist who was great and I was forced to relocate while I was validating my credentials with their security department on their landline and put on the back burner. I was on the phone and couldn't barely even hear when this manager kept asking the specialist to take the other client and I was put on hold while they worked on it and moved to another location so of course the call would hang up. I went ahead and left despite the specialist still wanting to help me since I got my information in the system to unblock my account so I would call separately from there since I had no longer felt like a welcomed customer anymore. I went home and called the general help line and they said I had to go back to a brick and mortar location since nothing got done and I couldn't be more disappointed. The help line said they would help put in a complaint but who knows. Good staff but I'm a bit saddened about the management.

Tellers who work there really need some training regarding how to talk with customers. Those tellers are very rude and have a sour attitude. Their low rating on Google is fully justified. Experienced it first hand. Don’t wanna go there again.

I went there yesterday to cash a check from my bestie. They kept me waiting and called supervisor Grant out. I asked if anything was wrong. The staff said nothing but just need verification. The supervisor came out and they pretty much told me how they think my check was fraud and printed myself. They asked what relationship between me and my friend or why she gave me money. The check was under $5k. I then told them to check last year in my account, she transferred me money before. They said she just never wrote check and this check just looks different to them. I then asked what was my opinion, they told me to deposit and then withdraw. I said okay and ask for date it will be available. He said after midnight, then he stepped away. The staff then started deposit and told me the check was put on hold so it may not be tomorrow. She said doesn't know but need to continue for system to show. Well, she finally rejected even deposit the check. And I walked out of the bank with my check and no money.I feel like I was being profiled. I was a customer with Bank of America for over 15 years. Same as my friend who wrote me the check. I explained I needed the cash so I chose check option just so I could cash out. Instead of deposit or transfer by her bank, I will still need to go to get money.They didn't do anything to help but tell me no. In the middle of the bank, I got told my check maybe fraudulent and if anything, they just take it out of my account if it was deposited instead of giving me cash.They could do a verification easily, but they just told me no instead. And even with all the trouble, I still walked out without able to just make the depositI went home and did a mobile deposit to test. It went through at midnight and now the fund is available.I will never use that bank again. I feel like it was discrimination. My friend who wrote me a check wanted to go back there with me and talked to the staff or do verification for me. I refused because it just wasted more of my time. Need to have better trained staff and supervisor who cares for the customers and willing to work to get things done.If there was a zero star, I would choose that open. 1 star is too much for this place

Probably the worst banking experience in the world. I suggest never never go to Bank of America.I helped a friend of mine and I paid for some rental equipment, she reimbursed me with a check from Bank of America. Around $520. I went to make America to cash the check, but I do not have an account at Bank of America.BankAmerica wanted to charge me eight dollars for non-customer fee . I would never be a customer Bank of America. I refused cash my check and took it to my credit union where it was deposited for no fee. It's only reminded me of when I had my account with BankAmerica for over 20 years, all the time they charged me for this and for that and always extra fees. Now that I'm with a credit union I save money from frivolous fees BankAmerica charges their customers.

I had appointment at 2 pm. I waited for 30 minutes, and the person who I had appointment with, Brett, did not even acknowledge my presence in the waiting area. I finally found out who he is and walk over to ask what’s going on. Then he said he is going to be another 30 minutes. I should go and recheck in. What a lousy attitude! I saw him walk in and out several times while I was waiting, yet he never bother to let me know he is running late. He did not seem to be sorry. This person needs retraining, attitude adjustment. What a poor service, Bank of American should be ashamed!

Had appointment at 2 pm. I was told to wait at the waiting area, the person I had appointment with is finishing up. I waited, waited, 30 minutes, nothing happened. I found out who the person is , so I walked over to see what is going on. Brett, said he will finish in about 30 minutes, and I should go recheck in. No apologies, don't seemed to care, had no decency to even let me know he was running late, what a terrible customer service! Definitely needs retraining!

Terrible staff! Horrendous service! These guys don’t know what work is at all. I got my wallet stolen and I came right away to block my cards and they said I had to schedule an appointment to block my cards. WHAT?! I don’t have time to wait while someone is spending my money while i’m waiting for my cards to be blocked. Within a week I needed a notary to verify some documents and Apparently they only have one guy that does that and he is on vacation. I don’t understand what is going on, there is 7 people working and only 1 can stamp something? Other banks of america are great but this mukilteo branch is horrendous, just give excuses to push clients away (i’m not speaking of the tellers, the guys that take care of “clients”)

For six years already we have been receiving E-Checks from our work because we have a Remodeling company. Normally one or two times a month we come to different branches to deposit this type of check.Today we went to this branch in Mukilteo (like a hundreds of times before) to deposit two E-Checks but the Manager Grant Hooper rejected our check and he said that our checks were “Fraud” he said this in front all customers inside of the bank, Grant Hopper was so disrespectful and discriminating with me and my son who was explaining to him that these checks were real. The only thing that he forgot to do was call the police, because honestly he made us feel like criminals.We will never be using this branch again.

I don’t understand why there are so many bad reviews. This is my Favorite bank, the closest one to my house, the employees are always very friendly, always ready to help, all my problems are solved very quickly, even without an apointing. Joseph is super professional! Natasha is always kind and ready to help. I don’t remember the others by name, but all the guys are cool!

Rude rude rude. I went there 3 times, 1st time the deposit was done quickly and everything went ok. 2nd time line was out of the door and the teller was slow and needed some training. I figured I would give it another chance. 3rd time, no line (great!), got the same teller and she was jut rude. Wow, no customer service skills whatsoever. I gave her the check to deposit and showed a copy of the invoice with account and routing numbers; after starring at her computer screen for 15 mins and not being able to figure out how to make a deposit into commercial account, she had to ask for help from her co-worker. It only took 30 seconds after that. At the end she made several comments about how I should not waste her time and provide all of this info when I come in next time. I have never ever heard a teller telling me that I am wasting her time. She kept making remarks even after I turned away and was walking out of the door. I am still shocked. Of course, I will never go back to this teller. Even if I have to wait in line longer... The other teller was helpful and nice.

I cashed a check from them and they charged me $8 to cash the check. BECU does not charge money to cash checks from them.
