If you are a history buff or a lifelong resident or just new to the area this is an interesting stop. While waiting for your order at this hometown cafe, browsing through the historical museum will enlighten and amaze you. And the scramble bkfs. Was just like homemade.

What a hidden gem! The staff was super friendly, like they knew us already and they were more that happy to share how the Archive center came to be. Such a happy accident to find this on our meandering road trip.

Very light, bright, positive place, with wonderful, affirmative and inspirational quotes written on the walls and beams. Good breakfast and lunch choices... Or just a warm cup of coffee.

Great place to learn about local history. Large copies of amazing old logging scenes from the area on the wall. Truly a local treasure trove of history. (I've confirmed genealogy details with records preserved here.)

Fascinating collection of antique items, some unique hand made items for sale, too. Nice coffee shop with a selection of sandwiches and Finnish pastries. A great place to stop.
