Newcastle Fruit & Produce Co. has been a trusted part of the Bellevue community for over 30 years, offering high-quality fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, trees, and plants. The business operates both as a produce market and a plant nursery, serving Bellevue, Renton, Issaquah, Newcastle, and surrounding areas. Visitors appreciate the friendly and knowledgeable staff, who create a welcoming and casual farmer's market environment. The market is praised as an excellent place to find fresh produce, including interesting and rare fruits, as well as garden accessories and outdoor plants like trees and flowers. The nursery features a good selection of trees, such as maple and fruit trees, some of which are already producing fruit. The produce is consistently fresh, and the nursery displays seasonal items like pumpkins during Halloween. While the store offers decent prices on fruit trees and interesting varieties of fruits, some customers note that checkout lines can be long due to limited registers, and prices are not always clearly marked per pound. Overall, Newcastle Fruit & Produce Co. is valued for its quality, variety, and friendly service, making it a popular spot for locals to support their community and enjoy fresh, healthy offerings.
