Wonderful Staff! From the manager to the tellers. Each Staff member takes care of me as if I were their only customer. It always brightens my day stopping in here. They take care of me and my business as well as my employees and my family. North Bend is my favorite branch. Thank you for your hard work and kindness over the decades guys!

I’ve been banking at this location in North Bend, WA since before it was bought by Umpqua. I did like it better before the acquisition, but it is still a very nice bank except for the lobby appointment system. That is frustrating, but I understand and appreciate the caution.

Worst customer experience ever. My CD was mature but due to covid it slipped my mind. On day 11 out of the 10 days they give you they took 200$ out of my CD for "holding onto my money " instead of doing the right thing when everyone is out of work and no income coming in they should have waved the fee. But no one cared so here I am leaving you a bad review. You could have rolled it into my checking account or my savings. Instead I closed all my accounts and still no one from corporate has gotten back to me.

Helpful. But one seems to be snyde. Eric is the best. Tyler was excellent too. Wait those might be cuteness points. Had trouble with online bamking, never was able to resolve after 2 years.

I've been banking with Umpqua for just about a year. Without exception, every transaction I've done there has been excellent. The people are professional, friendly and helpful. Every. Single Time. Someone always greets me with a genuine smile when I come in the door.

I've been banking with Umpqua for just about a year. Without exception, every transaction I've done there has been excellent. The people are professional, friendly and helpful. Every. Single. Time. Someone always greets me with a genuine smile when I come in the door. A few months ago, I deposited a check at the drive-thru, giving them my ATM card for the account info (no gripes about not filling out a slip). A short conversation about the source of the check and whether or not they'd need to hold funds until it cleared, ensued. Friendly and professional, but probably it would take 7 days. Ah, well. Little did I realize as I drove away, that the teller had forgotten to return my ATM card. That would have been a major imposition, except that my phone rang when I was a half-block away. "Sorry, I forgot to return your ATM card." When I entered the lobby a couple minutes later, I was greeted with smiles and apologies from TWO people. Along with my card, the teller handed me a coffee gift card along with the message that they put the check through without waiting the requisite 7 days for it clear. THAT is outstanding customer service. That's what the big banks are missing. It's not whether or not you mess up. It's how you handle it when you do.

Having only had one experience with Umpqua, I can say it was more than fine with exceptional management. I did spend quite of time opening accounts, but I could only be happy with the attention to detail. Past that, what is there to say?

If you want to bank with tellers that are nosy and try to give advice like they are accountants this is the place. Not open on Saturdays. I opened an account here because it had a small bank feel. This next statement should really explain how bad they are: I closed my account and opened one with Chase!
