Turned us away from a passport appointment after being 3 minutes late as apparently the clerk had shut down the passport system already as we werent on time. We had no way to call and let the facility know we would be late due to an accident on the road. I called and complained to USPS and a manager got back to me stating the Clerk said we were 5 minutes late and arent obligated to take us. They had lied unfortunately. We tried explaining this to the manager but he was unwilling to help us make things right. I have a feeling the clerk shut the passport system down right at 3:45pm which is unfair. We had such a great experience the last time we came here place. I recommended everybody to come here to register their passports because of how easy and nice they were. Now, after weeks of waiting for this appointment and an hour drive to the facility just to be turned away after being 3 minutes late, definitely take your business elsewhere. I absolutely do not recommend this location any longer.

Amazon tracking said usps left the package in a parcel locker but there was no key in my mailbox to open the locker. Tried calling during business hours but phone kept ringing and no one picked up. Tried calling 3 times and gave up.

Mom went to apply for a passport for her first time (in August) and the passport lady sent the (not accepted) birth certificate with the application in, weeks later the passport processing place let her know that it was not an acceptable form of birth certificate and that she would need to mail out an original. It is now almost October, and we have had to pay $165 for the application, $80 to expedite, $40 worth of expedited mailing documents ($285) total for the passport that should have arrived by now for $165 if applied for properly by this post office. We leave in a little over two weeks, we have no idea if we are going to get it in time. ALL of this was preventable if the lady did the job she IS BEING PAID to do, correctly. I'd be happy to take this down if they do the right thing and make an effort to at least provide a partial reimbursement for the mistakes made on their end.

I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but I’ve had multiple poor experiences with the North Bend post office. I guess the straw to break the camel’s back was that I just had my mail carrier yell at me.
I get it, I understand the job is demanding. And it must be incredibly frustrating when someone isn’t collecting their mail often enough…but that is when you ask them in a kinder way to collect their mail OR take their mail to the post office for them to collect. Which would not be fun for my husband and I, but I would honestly like that better than the way I was just treated.

There is a lady committing fraud. She is taking mail from PCT hikers and “delivering it. Charging $10 per package.
I will be contacting USPS. This is illegal.

I've only had good experiences with this USPS location over the past several years of shipping packages to Etsy customers. The staff are friendly, professional and efficient, and none of my packages have ever had issues.

Made an appointment for my 4 month old baby to get a passport photo. He had a diaper blowout in the parking lot like babies be doing. By the time I cleaned him up and checked in 5 mins late, I was told my appointment was canceled and there was nothing they could do to help me. Mind you, the post office was completely empty and there were two clerks serving zero customers at the time because I purposely booked during a slow time weeks in advance and was turned away with a baby for no reason other than the small amount of power the staff chose to wield against me. What is the point of choosing a local post office in a small town? If I’m going to be seen as a number and not a person, I’ll go to the city for that. YIKES! Our interaction was a bare minimum level of polite so I’ll give them one star instead of ZERO.

We went there for reviewing passport for my two kids. Since appointments were a few weeks out across Eastside/Seattle post offices and King county courthouses, we went to North Bend for a walk-in on a Saturday (walk-ins window: Saturdays, 11am-2pm).
The lady at the passport counter was very helpful, patient and helped us complete the application process as required by Department of State. She was very professional.
Before North Bend, we went to Redmond, Bellevue, Issaquah post offices where walk-ins were either closed for last week of December or the USPS employees were just rude and unhelpful and acted like we were not wanted. North Bend USPS office was a pleasant surprise indeed!

I'm been told at the desk area more than once that there is no package for pickup for my name or address. But i have a USPS missed delivery slip at home saying a package is ready to be picked up (so...always bring it). Also, no one EVER answers when you call. On the plus side, they're always friendly. But wow, frustrating org to deal with.

I miss this location...I recently moved to Issaquah and the post office here is horrible. I miss my packages going out the same day I got them to the post office (like they did in North Bend). I miss the friendly ladies that work there. I miss the ease shipping my products.
