Stayed two nights and had a great experience. The location was convenient in Oak Harbor. The room was clean and tidy and the staff was friendly in every encounter and helpful as well.
The pool wasn't open when we were there but we were told we could ask for a key at the desk to use the hot tub.
There is no laundry on site but we were able to go to the sister property, Candlewood Suites, next door and use their facilities for free.

This is what the pool actually looks like, don't trust the other photos on here. We've stayed at Coachman just a little down the road a couple of times before while visiting here and the staff was nicer and the pool was way better.

Stayed here for the Renaissance Festival nearby. Great staff, clean and comfortable rooms, included breakfast (yay fresh waffles and fruit!). Convenient to OH restaurants and attractions. Would definitely stay here next time I’m in oak harbor.

Our stay here was very comfortable and convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful with anything we needed. We were up and out every morning adventuring and the breakfast provided was perfect- lots of options for our whole family and a great way to start the day. We found the hotel clean and cozy. We also discovered the Chinese restaurant in the same lot as the hotel on the last day of our stay- great bar and food options also with a friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

They get the highest ratings for exactly what they say they are. It’s not a luxury hotel but it was pretty darn nice and probably one of the better options that didn’t cost a small fortune on Whidbey Island. The room was clean, the pool was clean, but quite small to accommodate the massive hot tub, which is what we wanted anyway! The people at the front desk were helpful, the breakfast that was included was far better than I thought, since I couldn’t really get a description of it ahead of time. Oatmeal, waffles, eggs, Kind of what you’d get at a Hampton Inn. I have to admit with Covid transmission being kind of high when we were there that having it in an enclosed basement with no windows wasn’t my favorite thing. There is an automatic coffee machine all day in the lobby. It included hot chocolate and kind of a whipped vanilla drink, which made my kids happy.

We recently stayed here (7/12 - 7/14) on a weekend trip and really enjoyed our stay. I'll break it down with a pros/cons list.
Pros:
-Good central location on Whidbey Island less than 20 minutes from Deception Pass.
-Reasonably priced at around $220 a night. This is actually a bargain if you look at the other prices on the island during summer travel season.
-Large'ish rooms that were clean and well maintained.
-Free breakfast that had different options each morning (including dairy free milk).
-Nice little pool and hot tub that was great after a long day of hiking.
-Free EV charger right next door at the China City restaurant. This was a well worn charge point station that could use some maintenance and only had 1 plug working, but it seemed to always be available and was free level 2 charging. Be sure to have a charge point account and be ready to fight with the 1 plug if you plan on using this.
-Great staff with positive attitudes.
-A/C worked great.
-Our room (#304) had a nice little balcony.
Cons:
-The bathroom design wasn't optimal as they have the shower/toilet in a separate room from the sink. Not a deal breaker but just an annoying design.
-I could hear some hallway noise but nothing crazy. If you're worried about this just request beforehand to have a room at the end of the hall away from the elevators/stairs.
-The rooms and furniture are a little dated but I've seen much worse.
Food & drinks: Plenty of options nearby.

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Very nice, very clean and service was so friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is passing by and looking for a good place to stay. 5 stars all the way.
Rooms: Rooms were so nicely made and clean.
Walkability: Very safe to walk here and kept up very well

A decently large, clean room. Good water pressure and a cute pool/spa. Breakfast is the best you'll find at this price level, we were very impressed.

The hotel offers relatively good conditions and a convenient location, with many large supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The staff has a good attitude, and both the lobby and rooms are clean. There are also water dispensers and coffee machines available.
The parking lot is spacious, which is a plus. However, the main downside is that the building is quite old. The walls, roof, windows, and doors are very thin, so you can hear every step from the neighbors upstairs, as well as the neighbors next door using the toilet, taking a shower, or even having intimate moments.
The hotel also provides a free breakfast, which is of average quality but still better than nothing.
