The gallery is a friendly, welcoming, member-run, beautiful gallery which is arranged to enhance the viewing of all the artwork. All media is represented by the local member artists and their guest artists. It is easily accessible with plenty of parking on the street as well as handicap parking directly in front of the gallery and a large parking lot in the rear of the building where the gallery is located. The artwork is beautiful, unique and created here on the island by its gallery members. Its a great place to shop for that 'special' gift. It's also nice that there are several restaurants nearby where you can enjoy a delicious meal after shopping!

Nice gallery of art by local artists. I headed straight to the jewelry art and found a couple beautiful bracelets but I also spied lovely paintings and photos, wood art and even quilted art!

We unfortunately didn't purchase anything, but at the prices they were asking we looked really hard and long. Excellent value throughout. Just nothing that worked for us at this time. Will diffidently go back on our next visit to town.

You can find all sorts of beautiful, hand-crafted items at this store whether it is handmade cards, prints and photos, stained glass, scarves and earrings, or home furnishings. I belong to the Garry Oak Society and we sell handcrafted oak items here for our non-profit that focuses on education, preservation and protection of our local oaks!

The Garry Oak Gallery on Pioneer in downtown Oak Harbor is one of my favorite art galleries and I visit it frequently! I have purchased items made from real garry oak trees, greeting cards with prints from local artists photographs and paintings, and several photographs on canvas and metal for my home. All of the artists that I have met at the store are very nice and I've enjoyed visiting with them every time I'm at the gallery. We are very lucky to have both very talented artists here locally as well as such a beautiful gallery to showcase their artwork. Over the years of my vacationing and/or living in various places I always enjoy checking out local art galleries and I can honestly say that the Garry Oak Gallery ranks up at #1 on my list. It's a must see if you are in the area!

The gallery held a wide variety of art/media. Glass silks, fabrics, photography, painting and more - more than I expected to find. The level of talent seems to be pretty high. Part of the draw is that the gallery is in the middle of the Old Town District in Oak Harbor. Garry Oak one of several businesses in what seems a nicely preserved turn of the century farm supply building. There is a great wine bar (with food) in the rear of the building.

There are at least 3 local galleries I enjoy visiting every few months: Garry Oak Gallery on Pioneer in Oak Harbor, Penn Cove Gallery in Coupeville and Scott Milo Gallery in Anacortes.
