Navy Lodge Whidbey Island offers a comfortable and welcoming stay with clean, well-laid-out rooms that include kitchenettes equipped with pots, pans, and a good-sized fridge. Guests appreciate the spaciousness of the rooms, the nice layout, and the full closet. The lodge is pet-friendly, providing a grassy area with a poop bag station, and staff are friendly, attentive, and dedicated to good service. The building is quiet, with no slamming doors, and the scenery around the lodge is beautiful, making it a pleasant place for both short visits and longer stays.
Guests enjoy the full breakfast options, including bagel and English muffin egg sandwiches, yogurt, and pastries, along with 24-hour coffee. Rooms are very clean, and the interior decor is modern and nice, though some mention the outside has a retro look. Housekeeping is accommodating, and laundry facilities are available and clean. The lodge is located on base, providing a safe environment, though it is somewhat isolated from gates and other amenities.
Some minor issues include slow water pressure, which affects filling coffee pots and taking showers, and in one case, a need for more frequent room service during a week-long stay. Beds are comfortable but slightly firm for some guests, and kitchenware can be hard to clean. Despite these small concerns, most guests would happily stay again, citing the friendly staff, beautiful scenery, and overall good experience.
One of the best Navy Lodge's I've stayed in. Clean, spacious rooms, kitchen area. Complimentary breakfast brought to your door (nothing fancy but still a bonus). Cookies, coffee. Nice staff.

Great place to stay if you are Active Duty or Veteran! The kitchen in the rooms is awesome and having a full size refrigerator is amazing! Close to great walking trails on base and the exchange! 5 minute car ride to downtown Oak Harbor. Would book again in a heart beat!
