I wish I could give zero stars. This pharmacy is laughably bad. I have great empathy for the pharmacies experiencing staffing shortages right now and the existing pharmacy staff who have to work incredibly hard as a result...at every other pharmacy in town. Not here. Today, I had the misfortune to interact with the rude young male pharmacist who has seemingly no respect for patient privacy. That experience added to the staff here who seem incapable of accomplishing basic tasks without forcing the patient to be the one to (unnecessarily) go back and forth with the doctor was the final straw. While I know this pharmacy couldn't care less if I ever return, I hope if you're smart, you'll also go elsewhere. Consider Walgreens, Walmart, Safeway, or even Island...you know, one of the other companies that isn't going bankrupt.

Staff is absolutely kind and helpful. If you live in oak harbor, you forget there is a rite aid. Kinda hidden. But check them out. Manager and staff is absolutely kind and helpful.

Well, unfortunately I have figured out, firsthand, why this store has such a low rating. How is this store still open?! They don't notify you when they plan on NOT carrying an extremely vital medication anymore, they say certain medications will be ordered and available on a particular day, only to NOT tell you that it didn't come in, their customer service is terrible, and all-around I am super disappointed in Rite Aid, as a whole. The only friendly employees are the ones who greet you right when you walk in. The pharmacy employees are unfriendly, unhelpful, and clearly don't care about the fact that pharmacy customers are picking up medications that are extremely important. I'm honestly furious with this store. I had recently switched all of my prescriptions to their pharmacy and now I'll be switching to Walgreens, where I'll hopefully get better service and the vital medications I need. I've had enough of Rite Aid.

Pharmacy is incredibly slow. I know everyone is short-staffed, but to take a full day (sometimes longer) to fill a prescription is bad, especially when the patient is really sick and in need of medication.

ANSWER YOUR GODDAMN PHONE.
It should not have taken my mom FOUR attempts to pick up my meds with Tricare. Whoever the manager was tried to tell her I'm not enrolled in DEERS which is 100000% LIES. Didn't give any sort of directions for my medication: how much to take, how often, and for what. DON'T COME HERE. GO ELSEWHERE.

They are quick, friendly, and go past store hours to give your prescription. I had to insist I get my medication that night instead of waiting, but they still kindly gave me the medication. The other pharmacy I won't mention was closed due to an emergency.

For several years they have had issues with their phone lines, no answer no matter when you call. I have literally been hung up on. Now, having worked in customer service, I know it can be crazy and having to fulfill a bunch of demands is hard but just the bare minimum of customer service politeness, prompt responses, even just a “hey can I put you on hold while I fulfill another order?” Would be totally great but they don’t even seem to care enough to do that. I’m fed up and am taking my business elsewhere. I have a time sensitive order of an inhaler for my kiddo that I need fulfilled today and I can’t get ahold of a single stinking person to let me know they’ve received it and when I can come get it. This turned into a rant. Sorry.

Horrible customer service from a long grey hair lady. I was on the phone with my primary care to make sure my prescription was sent over and she rudely interrupted with witty attitude.. thinking I was talking to her.. waited forever just to get sent to drop off then told to come back hours later. Every visit is like this.

They are mostly alright but sometimes I feel when you are asked to call ahead to ensure your medicine is ordered and there when you need it, it seems like you are ignored and have to order it again and again and then you have to wait 2 to 3 days without your medicine and I feel this is unacceptable.

Answer your phone.... I've called 8 times since 8am 10/18/2022 and nothing. I just get bumped back to the original robot for rite aid in general. Seriously.. short staffed yet everytime I have gone in there is a minimum of 3 people there.

This is absolutely ridiculous on how slow they are being. I completely understand that your short staffed. But it's been 2 weeks and yet still haven't filled my prescription came in on Wednesday the lady said we'll have it ready by Saturday I come in Tuesday night. And they say oh it ain't ready yet are you joking some people need their meds and they're just screwing people over.

Often have to order or transfer medications that are out of stock, but they do take walk ins for vaccinations and provide cheap prescriptions with GoodRx.
