About Port of Peninsula
Port of Peninsula was a cute small port with a beautiful view of the bay. They could watch boats unload oysters, drive on the beach, walk around the park and have a sandwich and a bottle of wine. The place gave a perspective of the peninsula and the waters on both sides and saw huge piles of oyster shells. Wildlife heron eagles and other natural birds often seen. Music events was great and the area was extra special.

Was the first time I experienced this and we drove through oysterville as well. Gave me a perspective of the way the peninsula runs and the waters on both sides. Had not seen it from that point of view yet. And saw a few huge piles of oyster shells. Was very interesting to see

Jay and the crew were great. They let us watch them unload the oysters of the fish boat. Jay gave us so many ideas what to do in the area. Even told us we could drive on the beach this time of year. Which we did.

Lovely place to kayak. Be sure to have $1 for the Port fee.
