Free by the Sea is a treatment center located in Washington State, ready to provide expert support on the road to recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. The facility offers 30-day residential treatment as well as PHP and IOP programs. The staff is amazing, wonderful, caring, understanding, responsive, compassionate, and knowledgeable. They have every client's health, integrity, and safety in mind. Many staff and counselors know firsthand what clients are going through, sharing their own stories of failures and successes. The team provides an individualized plan, excellent care, and comfort during the stay. They offer transportation to and from the facility. The curriculum and classes are eye-opening and life-changing, covering behavioral health, brain studies, relapse prevention, and trauma. Extra classes for success are endless, including favorite art and vagus nerve classes, which help reopen the creative side and mind/body regulation. The program provides the tools and a wealth of knowledge to understand the disease and manage long-term sobriety. The accommodations are excellent. They provide all required hygiene products, clothing, and other needed items. The meals are amazing, with high restaurant quality food. The kitchen staff is great, offering a changed daily menu with many options, including salads, a stocked cereal bar, snacks, and leftovers available at any time. The property features a walking track, pickleball, and separate lounge areas. The experience is described as a blessing that saved lives. Residents feel cared for, important, and not judged for their past. The program requires a willingness to change and to give in to some hard, mind-challenging steps. I got my life back here. I spent 5 full months here, and can say it’s easily the most complete program I’ve come across on my recovery journey. The staff are nice, and the place is comfortable, and in a beautiful location, and there’s a good prevailing culture among the residents.

What a wonderful treatment center with so many perks than other treatment facilities. The staff are wonderful. Everyone from the kitchen to admin, it was a great experience. I am home now with 35 days clean. Couldn't have asked for more. If you are serious about recovery, come to FBTS. They will take excellent care of you.

Free By The Sea was an integral part of the beginning of my recovery. I gained a lot of knowledge and support from the counselors and staff that helped me gain the confidence and motivation to continue to move forward with my sobriety. Thank you for this experience!
