The Coastal Interpretive Center is a small but impressive museum located in Ocean Shores. Visitors can expect to learn a lot about the ocean and the Pacific Northwest region. The museum features a variety of interesting exhibits, including the history of the forests, animals, and local communities. There are also interactive displays and hands-on activities, especially in the children's area, which are well-received by families. The museum is reasonably priced and offers a great experience for curious minds and nature lovers. Visitors can explore comprehensive exhibits, admire the region's native history and technology, and even purchase special souvenirs from the gift shop. The friendly staff and the museum's ability to engage both children and adults make it a worthwhile stop for anyone passing through Ocean Shores.
My 1, 3 & 4 year olds loved this place! Fun to see all the different artifacts and learn some new things about the area.

This place was the perfect stop for our 5 and 2 year olds. You can touch everything in the museum except the taxidermied animals. They had a great time steering a ship, trying on hard hats, crawling through a cave, and feeling animal pelts. The bookstore has a great selection of both children's and adult books.
