Keep an eye on your receipts!
Constantly get overcharged whenever I or someone I know shops here, and if you ever DARE try to get a refund or reimbursed be prepared to have the most braindead conversation of your life, even if you've barely walked out into the parking lot before noticing a discrepancy you will be treated as if you just grew a second head once you walk back in.

Avoid this store if you’re a tourist.
I came to Ocean Shore for a weekend getaway and stopped by this store last night to buy a few essentials. They claim to have a strict no return policy.
I tried to return an unopened, sealed ELF foundation the very next morning, but the representative, a brunette woman with long hair refused to accept it. The product was never opened, with the seal fully intact. yet she still declined the return.
Terrible customer service and zero flexibility. I wouldn’t recommend shopping here, especially if you’re visiting from out of town.
Ended up returning the product at the store in Aberdeen.
Makes me wonder about that passive aggressive attitude from that particular customer rep in Ocean shores. 🤷🏽♀️

This store has its moments, but the issue with lines kinda hides everything I usually love about shopping here. The poor girl today for example was left sol while the line was literally wrapped around and basically out the door. It took a customer to hunt down another employee to even notice that it was like that. And this isn’t the first time, I’m a local so I am a frequent at this store and it’s truly disappointing. A lot of times the shelf’s are not stocked, things are strewn about, you can literally see the products you want in unreachable places. A few of the employees are super sweet and wonderful to talk to, and some of them are constantly grumpy and clearly need to reevaluate where they work if they are that miserable to be there.

Chaotic, long line wrapped around store, one register open, shelves half stocked and messy, out of ice, bathrooms out of order, the one and only cashier was nice tho

I went to get propane, they said they don't have any. You can see into the locked propane cabinet. They have fresh bottles of propane with the safety tabs still attached. So they do have propane they just don't want to walk outside. The store is a disaster. They don't keep anything stocked on the shelves except what the vendors stock themselves. They leave pallets of stuff everywhere. If you don't 100%need anything from here don't go in.

Horrible experience every single time I go in there! Today they said they couldn't load my cash app card that they sold me earlier because someone in front of me had just done it and they can only load one cashapp card per hour. Freaking ridiculous!

Never had a bad experience here, staff is incredibly nice. Great selection at great prices. The ONLY thing i have a problem with is that you can only add money to your card after an hour from the last person. Everytime I've gone there on 3 separate occasions I haven't been able to add money to my card. This last time they told me they couldn't do it right now, I decided to wait. I spent a half hour in my car because the cashier said they cannot do it until 4:30 so I waited. I came in at 4:27 to get in line and I was seen at 4:29 and apparently the person ahead of me got to do it right before me. The frustration I'm feeling is immeasurable and this has been a great inconvenience all around. They say the only reason it's an hour between each customer is that's the only way they can track potential fraud, which I understand. But they need to think of a new system for tracking it because this is bullshit. It wouldn't be so bad if the only other alternative wasn't an hour round trip to hoquiam. Aside from this I have no complaints, but damn is this frustrating.

Had Kiddo with a potty emergency and both bathrooms are supposedly out of order. Store was messy and looked to be in a consistent state of restocking or over inventory. Much better luck at the IGA!

I go often. It's chaotic, but so is every Dollar General. The water bottles were hard to find. They only keep sodas up at the front register. One water bottle cost about $2.50 ?
Place is great for junk food, and a few sundry items.
I don't like that I've had an employee give himself a 5 ⭐ review when I was paying (happened a while ago).
Service is only as good as the employees want it to be, so some are great.

What a mess. The store was in disarray and impossible to find anything. The guy working the counter couldn't even fill a balloon and give it a fresh string. He had to tear it off from a deflated balloon to give to a customer.

This place is chaos. Every isle is loaded with boxes and most shelves are empty with no price tags for the products. You need to hire more people to manage the front and stock the shelves if you want more customers. Two staff people can't support the needs of this establishment!
