“The works of artists living on this island are on display and can be purchased directly. There was a cafe next to Bao, so it was nice to be able to take a break and have a drink. It's a place that comes down to the beach after passing Moran State Park, so I recommend stopping by for a while.”

“Mandatory stop on Orcas Island. The place itself is beautiful, a garden full of flowers, with giant trees and a view of the bay.The ceramics are incredible, with several options from different artists. They are expensive but very different.”

“Sally makes the best custom silk screened quality kitchen towels and an assortment of various canvas bags. A lot of her art work is Northwest themed with crabs, salmon and flowers etc. There are many designs that are funny and creative and put a smile on your face! Her studio also has her husbands metal art too. There are crab and & fish trivets that compliment kitchen towels as well as northwest themed metal yard art. I love to go shopping at her gallery to buy gifts and many times I bring friends to shop.”

“Since my frames were back ordered, George made two gorgeous custom frames for me. They were reasonably priced and done very quickly. The mats were great too. I frame a lot of artwork and I’m very happy that George is on the island. (Photo is of a beautiful Mikio Watanabe mezzotint print in a beautiful frame!)”

“These are super cool people. The space is a working hot glass studio where visitors can watch up close. Lots and lots of wonderful glass art and a near by gallery of high-end art work. Definitely stop at this village shop. Walk a little further around the village and get the BEST FUDGE on the planet and a cute apron with "Oh Fudge".”

“This gallery has a wonderful variety of art and is a must see when you’re in Eastsound! I purchased a beautiful ceramic bowl and two watercolor prints from the gallery and was having such an engaging conversation about the history of Orcas Island with Sonia that I forgot to put the prints in my bag. I realized when I got back to Seattle, so I called and Sonia was wonderful and got them to me! I am so thankful and will be back!”

“As soon as we drove by this place during our 4-day visit in late July, I wanted to go in! Love places like this where one can seek out unique treasures to remember their trip by! My husband and I found a great t-shirt gift for his dad. I do not want share too many details publicly on the sweet exchange I had with the kind and real lady behind the counter, as some moments are better left private and sacred from the internet. Will never forget how wonderful she made me feel with her compliment.”
