Olympia Goodwill is a Tacoma-based nonprofit that operates thrift stores throughout Washington, focusing on providing free career training and job placement for the unemployed. The store offers a huge assortment of clothing and household items, though it lacks dressing rooms. Shoppers can try on clothes over their existing outfits or take items home for returns with original tags. While the store is well-organized and spacious, some reviews mention issues with self-checkout machines and a presence of homeless individuals outside, leading to feelings of insecurity. Despite this, many customers appreciate the friendly and helpful employees, especially those who remind them of discounts. Regular shoppers highlight the store’s cleanliness and the good deals available, particularly at the pound stores, where they have found amazing items at low prices. Overall, Olympia Goodwill is recognized for its variety, organization, and community support, making it a valuable resource in the area.
This is probably the best Goodwill in this area. Bigger selection, easier to donate, and the parking is good.

Huge assortment of clothing. Other household items are also for sale. Big drawback: No dressing rooms. You can try clothes on over your clothes in the store. Or, you can take them home and try them on and return them with original tags in place for store credit.
