Everyone was very nice and the finance department was very patient with me while they waited for some of my paperwork for my trade in. I felt well taken care of and everyone was always smiling or happy to answer any questions I had.

I recently purchased my second new Subaru Outback from Hanson Motors in Olympia, WA. My first Outback purchased from Hanson Motors was a 2015 model. So far I am very pleased with my new 2024 Outback. My sales associate Jovany was very personable, courteous and professional. He answered all my questions in a straight-forward manner and worked quickly to find and have delivered the Outback model and equipment I wanted. The financial associate, Chris, was equally personable and professional. I would rate my experience with Hanson Motors as a 5 on a 5-point scale and certainly recommend them if you are looking for a Subaru or Kia.

Our 2014 Subaru was in for regular service and also included a brake change. We were given an estimate of $667.10 + tax, which came to 729.69. Our surprise was the added credit card fee. Not $3.00. But 3% )$21.89). Since we weren't advised of this fee on credit card purchases, we didn't bring a checkbook. We could have paid with cash- after a trip to the bank, since we don't usually carry 7- $100. bills. Very disappointed.Donna J.

My experience with this dealership was better than I could have asked for. I do not live too close by, and had to do my business with them almost entirely over the phone, which was a somewhat scary idea because of how significant a purchase I was making. But they communicated very well with me over the weeks, they always picked up the phone, and they were very fair and stuck to their word when it came to pricing and everything else. The car was exactly what I had hoped for, and their service the day I arrived was very friendly and welcoming. Don Bauer was my primary contact for the purchase, and Aaron Johnson is my primary contact for information about the car itself. I feel thankful to have had these two people working with me and for this kind of experience buying my first car!

I honestly can't say enough how wonderful my experience was with this dealership. Came in not expecting much but Nik was absolutely amazing. He answered all my questions, heard my concerns and was extremely knowledgeable. He made sure that me and my family were taken care of. He paid attention to every detail and sent his thanks to my husband for his service. Chris, financial manager, was also amazing to work with. He heard my concerns and worked with me and helped me understand all my options in finalizing the sale. The best experience I've ever had with any dealership. Beyond thankful to have had this experience and looking forward to being part of the Subaru family.

The experience was great. Dan was a wonderful great salesman. Absolutely 0 pressure, I was actually a bit throw off by it to be honest. I had one thing I thought was an issue, but turned out to just be residue left over from the plastic protection being pulled off the car. They even were kind enough to clean it off when I was there a few days later. If you need or want a Subaru this is a good place to go!

Complete waste of time at this Subaru! We used the Costco program to avoid negotiations and get a price. The sales person named Nate, very incompetent, who cannot answer a simple question without asking his boss for each question, ends up wasting about 2 hours! We asked what is the discount from Costco many times, but he refuses to answer, makes us come in, wastes 2 hours, asking for driver's license and bank information! Then two hours later after going back and forth to his boss, he reveals the discount is only $500 off. Most dealership offer $500 off for military active duty and retired members. However, Subaru of Olympia only offers the discount for active duty members and not retirees! We will never buy another Subaru of Olympia the Communist!

We were right in the middle of a 4-hour road trip when six warning lights came on the dashboard all at once. We made it to Hanson Subaru at 5:30pm on a Friday and they were able to tell us it was a transmission problem, get us a loaner vehicle, and squeeze us in for a repair over the weekend so we could pick the car up first thing on Monday. Hanson Subaru turned a big snafu into an almost seamless experience. Thank you so much!

I have just had the WORST experience with them. I didn't end up buying the vehicle because of how I was treated. They only want to deal with men, and they apparently only care to finance in-house. They were incredibly rude, would interrupt me and speak over me, and only respond to my boyfriend. THEN, they were so rude with my credit union (OCU) that the loan officer has reported this incident. Super unprofessional.

Spent a pretty penny on a 2014 Dodge RAM today. Drove off the lot and had to immediately gas up as it was on empty. Later that day, it wouldn't start and I had to have it jumped to get home. Bought a new battery and so far it's working. They knew the battery was questionable but didn't take care of it. This, plus a mission key fob, manuals, record of maintenance, and floor mats (I would have accepted paper mats you know), tainted my view of Hanson Subaru. Update: Hanson has apologized for this experience and offered to compensate for the battery and gas. For that reason, I'm updating my review by 2 stars.

I last wrote a review for Hanson Subaru in 2020 and thought I couldn't have been happier, but they've done it again...I just got a 2023 Subaru Ascent Onyx Edition!!! From start to finish, this was hands down the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. I was coming up on the end of my lease and had done my own research. I was not expecting Hanson to have the vehicle that I wanted on the lot, I was merely getting an oil change. I was greeted and introduced to Aaron Johnson. He was friendly, personable, knowlegable and listened to the wants and needs I had regarding a vehicle (and listened to my husbands wants and needs regarding the financing). I was not intending to purchase a car, but every question was answered and the entire process was easy. After making our decision, David, in the finance department prepared the paperwork while Aaron showed us how to maneuver all of the gadgets and technology. Within just a few hours, I was driving home my new Ascent. I couldn't be happier. I will be a lifelong customer of Hanson Subaru (an added plus--Vince Hanson is a North Thurston High School alum! GO RAMS!!!)?

Absolute worst dealer experience I’ve ever had. We bought a new Forrester last December. The sales guy set the auto-bright headlights to the on position as I drove off in the dark and snow storm. He knew we live an hour away on a road less traveled. The minute I got out of the city lights, the auto-brights came on and I was instantly snow blind in a new car without knowing how to turn them off and couldn’t see the side of the road to pull over, it was terrifying! Then the day before our temp plates expired I had to call them to find out where the plates were and they’d forgotten to call us. So we were told to come in that day and pick them up. Not cool, we were six hours away and they’d promised us they’d answer questions about the car when we came to get the plates. Didn’t apologize for the inconvenience. From there it’s gotten worse; two free oil changes under our belt now, they won’t take appointments at the service desk so its an hour drive and a waiting game each time. They sold us a new tire when ours got a screw in it telling us it “couldn’t be repaired” which was a lie. Les Schawb repaired it no problem (for free) and when we complained to Hanson’s service manager Roy, he told us to bring the repaired tire in so he could see it. Another hour drive there only to meet him and be told he wasn’t going to refund the new tire they sucker-punched us into buying. And what a rude person he is! Its very unfortunate that the previous owner, Steve Hanson who was our friend passed away and folks who care more about making a buck than giving good service took it over. I will never purchase another Subaru nor do business with or recommend Hanson’s Subaru again. So sad! I already called Carter Subaru and ordered their license plate surrounds. Can’t wait to put them on and get the Hanson name off our car.

I'm not impressed. After the last service, the oil drain plug was so severely over torqued that the bolt head stripped trying to remove it. I spoke with the Service Manager; he was defensive, snotty, and did not own up. (I didn't ask for anything, and I would have turned down any offers of fair compensation, but non were made) I just hate paying a premium for low quality work.

Bought our third Subaru from Aaron Johnson this weekend. Aaron worked very hard to get us a great deal. He stuck with it instead of just seeing obstacles and eventually for us into a fantastic car at a great price and a payment that is manageable. He was smart and patient and this is why we will always come back to Hanson.
