We have been with OCU since we moved here, today really made me realize why, we have taken out 2 title loans, have a checking, and savings account. We have fallen on tuff times throughout the years and also some amazing times, but have always had an amazing experience no matter what, thank you OCU, and thank you to the branch manager of this location for everything you do. We will keep telling our friends this is the credit union to join.

We have been members since 1985. They have helped us through all our life events and really enjoy the personalized service. The staff are always friendly can't beat the personal service. Thank you Oly CU!

I can't imagine using any other bank for my banking business. Over my 50 year membership I have had direct deposit, taken personal loans, borrowed for numerous cars and have been beyond happy with the service. You just can't go wrong doing business with this great financial organization. You are never "just a number". Members are part of a wonderful family! Thank you Emily and Jessica for your help!

Olympia credit union has always been a great place to bank, they have terrific tellers and have been there for me when I needed to take out a loan. I started banking with Oly credit union in my 20’s and the gals who worked back then helped me get my credit in order that has helped in so many ways over the years that I’m forever grateful. I thought I should mention that I’ve never had to pay an overdraft fee at this credit union possibly due to having a 300 dollar overdraft protection allowance? Thank you guys!

I have been a member of this credit union since 2013, and I have never been more disappointed in the services of any bank or credit union in my life. Where to begin? The mobile banking interface is terrible, it’s glitchy, you can’t perform basic tasks like mobile check deposit that you can easily perform with just about any other credit union. Their overdraft fees, called “courtesy pay fees” are THIRTY-FIVE DOLLARS and they prey upon the lowest-income members to make the bulk of their money through fees. Absolutely deplorable. If you open an account with BECU you get FREE overdraft protection, not to mention the interest rates are much higher, the mobile banking interface is much more user friendly, and they even refund your out-of-network-ATM fees (another kindness that goes a long way to help low-income members rather than sabotage their finances like the Olympia Credit Union does). I will be ending my membership here as soon as possible.

I can’t believe there’s no ATM at their locations. I needed to get money deposited and the branches were closed and there was no where for me to make a deposit. So lame.

So far not happy. We deposited a large check twelve days ago. First they made $200 of it available, and then after allowing my husband to leave the bank thinking he had $200, they called and left a message telling him it actually wasn't available. I went into the bank the next day to take out $200, and was told none of the check would be available for up to 10 "business days", since it's a large check. Over a week later, the account said the money finally hit our checking account, on a Friday. Went into the bank (again), and was told we were actually overdrawn and the check (still) hadn't cleared, and none of it was available. As of today, the balance was supposed to be available, and it's still not!!! We also haven't received a debit card from them for my husband. It's been weeks. He ordered it weeks ago. The pins for our cards haven't arrived in the mail. I had to reorder a PIN number since I forgot the first one their bank gave me. I couldn't change my pin in the bank either, there's a number I have to call. We were told the check would be available this morning twelve days and 9 business days later, and guess what, it's not. I don't feel anything good has come from banking with a local credit union yet. At least the branch I go to, the customer service isn't great. I don't feel like a valued customer, or that I am someone that just deposit 10k in their credit union. On top of everything I've had trouble logging in to the online banking system they have. I'm very upset at the moment. If they do not make any of the check available today, I will be moving my money back to Chase.

I would not recommend this credit union to anyone. Not familiar with the Olympia branch, but the Lacey branch is horrible. Some customer service training might be helpful. Avoid this credit union if you are looking for a positive experience.

When I needed a car loan they gave me the loan and the rate was better than any other places I had gone to. The staff is fantastic at main branch downtown off 9th and behind FredMayers off of Sleater Kinney!
