I had the loveliest experience with Melannie for a cut and color! She is incredibly talented and experienced, and she really takes the time to listen and understand exactly what you want. Her warm, friendly personality makes you feel comfortable right away, and her pricing is very reasonable and competitive. I’m beyond happy with the results—10/10 recommend!

Melannie does the most beautiful balayage ombré - perfect fade and tone. I’ve been seeing her since 2018 and she has done an amazing job every time. She has also done an array of cuts from chin length to long layers and she is just amazing at shaping. I decided to go back to my natural color once and she matched it to perfection. Upon entering the salon, the barber kindly said that he doesn't have the "expertise" to cut hair of a certain "texture." In other words, he turned us away. He said this from across the room as soon as we entered the salon. From that distance, all he would be able to see is ethnicity (latino), skin color (brown), hair color (black), sex (male) and age (30's). As well, the current haircut is very common and rather basic: closely shaved sides and #4 guard for the top. When we turned around to leave, a woman nearby pointed to her hair and kindly said, "Sorry, we only know how to work with our hair." I hate leaving a negative review for this business. But, a barber turning away a customer because of the texture of their hair... I don't get it. I would think that they'd be willing to learn to cut all types of hair vs. turning away new customers.

I have been seeing Melannie for about 2 years now and she always does an awesome job! I first came to her with box dyed BLACK hair and she did an amazing job transforming my hair blonde without damaging it within a few sessions. Definitely recommend checking her out next time you’re thinking of switching up your hair ?
