Traveling in my 2025 Subaru Forester from the East Coast and while in Washington state, I decided to swing by a Safeway for gas. Unfortunately the massive gas nozzle (only ones I've seen coming all the way across country) they have will not fit in my tank so I went to a different Safeway same problem went to a mobil gas station they had the same big bulky nozzles and it would not fit in my 2025 Forester. Finally, I found a different Safeway with the old style nozzle and of course it fit. So if you're looking to fill up your tank in Washington state don't let it run empty cuz you might have to go to a few gas stations to find one that will work.

Incredibly slow pumps that freeze after every button press. Playing the advertisement on the screen was more important than spending money on a computer from this century.

Remote Chevron station. Asked for Safeway Rewards number. Typed in phone and saved some on fuel.

Safeway gas station apparently doesn't offer the same prices or deals on convenience items as the grocery store. They literally charge you more to grab a drink on your way to work....seems they would rather squeeze an extra couple dollars out of their customers than be convenient.
