I had a UPS box here for a year and even though they are always busy they hustle and process everyone quickly. The parking next to them gets full during rush hours (like when school gets out) but it's on the side of the massive Lowe's parking lot so there is always somewhere to park.”

Package Express on Harrison, in Olympia Washington, has been my go to for my shipping needs and my tab renewal since 2021, and I have always been completely satisfied with the service, attention to detail, kindness, and their superior customer service, and today was no exception. I needed to ship a Father's Day gift for my Best Friend of 30 years to Marysville, and it needed to arrive by the 15th (Father's Day 2025) at the latest.

At first, Kayden quoted me a very high cost to achieve this, and my stomach just dropped. Being the professional that Kayden is, he knew something just didn't seem right, so he started researching the system, and sure enough, and to my complete relief, he was right and was able to save me enough to where I felt very comfortable financially.

I am a Vietnamese immigrant and still improving my spoken English. I have been challenging myself to handle more everyday interactions on my own instead of relying on my American husband to speak for me. This time, my husband waited outside while I went in alone.

I explained that I wanted to print just a few personal thank-you cards from a finished PDF. The employee listened patiently, understood what I was asking for, and helped me without making my accent feel like a problem.

Because of what had happened earlier, I even asked him whether my English was difficult to understand. He told me he had no difficulty communicating with me.

That may have seemed like a very ordinary interaction to him, but it meant much more to me that day.

For someone learning a language in a new country, confidence can be built—or lost in small everyday moments. Being treated with patience and respect makes it a little easier to speak again the next time.

I was so touched by the interaction that I left without even asking his name. I wish I had, because he deserves to be recognized. I hope he somehow sees this and knows that something that may have felt routine to him made a real difference to someone else.
