I attempted to make an appointment today as a new patient. One of the questions the receptionist asked me is if I am being treated by pain management. And since I was being treated by pain management due to my arthritis in my spine, I a was declined as a new patient. I have never been discriminated by my medical condition, ever, until I met them. I thought I was being punked!

They don't care for their patients and been with them for years and ill find a provider that does. They will drop you if it doesn't work for them and not even willing to work with you. Find out I have a bill sent to collections and didn't even know. Thanks for the help. ?

The clinic has had my test results for over three weeks and I have yet to receive a call to review them with me. I have called 3 times and the receptionist was rude and short with me when I tried to express my frustration.

Although I am sorry for others who don't feel like they have received appropriate care, often the only time we comment is when we are upset about what we are provided with. This clinic has been wonderful in every way. Their customer service and standard of care has been consistent, supportive, kind, attentive, understanding, and timely. I sincerely appreciate being cared for by the medical team at Tumwater Family Practice, and would refer any of my family or friends to them.

As a patient, I believe the office staff is crucial in ensuring a positive and efficient healthcare experience. Unfortunately, the conduct of your office staff has fallen significantly short of the standards one would expect from a reputable medical practice. It is disheartening to witness such a blatant disregard for patient care and a focus on financial gain instead.

I live in Shelton and continue to drive to Tumwater for my doctor here because I really like her. Jennifer Casler always listens to me and never makes me feel rushed, which is rare. She is kind and lets me ask questions, even if they're not related to my visit reason. I have also seen other practitioners when it's been a more urgent need and they have always been great, as well. Yes, they do expect payment of your bill and will dismiss you if you don't pay. However, they have always been kind to me about it, even when I forgot for a while one time. I appreciate the care I've been given here and will continue to use this clinic as long as I live here.

This place is GREAT for check ups! Anything else though they’ll probably dismiss you, not take you seriously, no follow up, no referrals, my husband had an appointment for his knee, his second one with them, still no referral to an orthopedic doctor. But they uphold that classic way of making the patient wait as long as possible to ensure you know your place in the patient/doctor dynamic. But like I said, great for check ups! I mean sorta, like they won’t do lab work on you unless you’re overweight, because they’d rather assume you’re fine then find anything they might want to help prevent. Idk this is just a very so-so kinda place. Great for check ups, and having an answer to the question “who is your doctor”.

Dr. Rephunn has been my Primary Care Doctor for the last 7 years or so. She takes care of all my medical needs, in a timely way. She’ll ask me to the office and talk with her first, before referring me for tests or specialists, so no time or costs occur unnecessarily. She friendly, kind, wants the best for me and my health. She takes the time to listen, and understand what I have to say. She is an excellent Doctor whom I trust.

I’m so disappointed with tumwater family practice. They refused to continue giving service for not paying $few dollars. I mean I would understand if it was 1k but that small amount? Very disappointed!

I love TFP.....the staff is always friendly, respectful and caring. I love that the have someone in house that can schedule for an ultrasound appointment and that they have a lab on site. Makes it more simplified for busy patient. they also have appointments on Saturda.

First off, this review is from me, Deborah's husband, Doug. I have been a patient here for many years and have had,(and lost), a hand full of providers that have moved on for various reasons. It has been frustrating, but everyone should realize that our healthcare system is a hot mess everywhere. Any good provider can find a home anywhere, so turn over is a real issue. I do have to say, that Tumwater family has always been good to me and have always been available to do their best to get me in when I needed them most. Are they perfect? Maybe not, but most of them try their best to help me when I needed them most. I recently saw Megan Colburn for a DOT physical and found her to be a breath of fresh air. She was easy to talk to, very personable, and I hope she stays with TFP.Everyone please, try to be patient and kind. Everyone makes mistakes and some people you can never please, so take some of these bad reviews with a grain of salt. Thurston County has a serious shortfall of quality health care providers, so lets not chase them off by being poor patients with no respect.

Very happy Tumwater Family Practice is my clinic. Easy to get appointments. I feel listened to and well cared for when I am sick and during preventative care appointments. Jennifer Casler is always upbeat and offers multiple options for my care.

After reading reviews, I decided I would try this clinic anyway. I had my first appointment about a year ago with the PA Barbara Sherry. She wasn't very friendly and seemed bothered that I was there. And rather than celebrate my loss of 30 lbs during the pandemic, she told me to continue losing weight because my BMI isn't where it should be. I know I need to continue my weight loss journey but for a first time patient (who has been diagnosed with anxiety) trying to establish a primary care clinic after just moving to the area, I would not recommend this clinic or PA. I'm sure there are other clinics in town that actually care about you, your health, and your business... TWFC is not one of them. I am currently traveling an hour and a half to see my PA in Vancouver, WA because she actually cares about my health.
