I have to say that I was really nervous about getting an international health certificate for my little Pomeranian however USDA Tumwater made it very easy. I went to an approved vet, had the paperwork done online and sent it back to me via UPS. I was able to check the status regularly via an email and a phone call. Everybody was friendly and helpful. These people are doing a great job!

The lady I spoke to on the phone is rude. She repeated her words slowly again and again, regardless of what your questions are. And you could feel her taunting you.

Old female who answers phone call is very rude and won't let customers speak. Didn't help at all and was just dismissing our concerns.

We are relocating to Europe and bringing our cat.We followed all the information on their website to find an accredited veterinarian in our area. We pre-filled the international health certificate form using the instructions provided and took it to our appointment at the vet.We shipped the document on Friday at 4:30PM, it arrived Monday at 9:00AM.I sent an email to check on the status of our paperwork explaining that our international flight leaves in a couple days and wanted to know the status of our order.They emailed me back within 5 minutes and said that it was processed upon receipt and sent right back out.We will receive our paperwork within 24 hours of them receiving it.Exceptional service and communication.People that post 1 star reviews most likely missed a step or didn't follow directions carefully. This process is slightly complicated and takes proper planning and enough time to not mess it up. Read the instructions on their website and contact your accredited Vet for an appoint should be steps 1 and 2.Good luck and thank you!

We worked with Gina DiMartino earlier this week to finalize an international health certificate for one of the clients in our hospital. We had encountered a few roads bumps due to a correction being needed on the certificate, as well as the holiday on Friday causing a delay in the delivery of the endorsed certificate. After calling the main line numerous times & leaving voicemail after voicemail with no response, we finally tried the Endorsement Office & we were able to reach Gina. She went above & beyond to help us get everything figured out. She is the sole reason why we were able to get the certificate endorsed in time for the client's move to another country. In addition to that she also proof-read our final certificate to check for any errors & sent us helpful documents for future cases that we can reference when we need help. Our office, as well as the owner, cannot stress enough how amazing her service was. She made us a top priority & we are so grateful that she took the time to walk us through everything. If we could leave her 10 stars we would.

It's impossible to get someone on the phone. I had to keep calling over 5 times to annoy them into answering me. I have cancer and need to transport my service dog with me and it took over 5 business days to get this done. There was an initial error and no one told me or my vet. They don't respond to emails either. I made it clear that it was an emergency and I was spoken to like I was d*** or wasting her time. It was ridiculous. Some people actually do have emergencies and a little empathy can go a long way, even if someone is stressed with you. Obviously this is a stressful situation. I ended up getting g the health certificate 1 hour before closing. Literally at the very last minute.

Very poor customer service. They don't answer phone calls, return voice mail messages or emails. They have set impossible time lines for the customer and don't follow their own of a 1-3 business day turnaround. Their solution if there is a problem is to redo the whole process and pay again for certification and document shipment. What a mess! And what's a person going to do, no one else to go to and no one to complain to. And no one at the USDA seems to care at all.

The worst government department I have ever dealt with is the USDA in Turnwater, WA. The website indicates it takes up to 3 business days to get the health certificate but the fact is that this department can take more than one week to process one single documentation. When I sent an e-mail to ask about the health certificate, the auto reply email said their department does not reply the email regarding the status. So I decided to call the department to ask about the status directly. The first five calls went to voice mail directly and I did not receive any call back after leaving a message. The 6th call was answered but I was told to stop calling the department for status since I can slow down their process. I told them I missed the flight because the health certificate takes longer than their standard process time. The agency told me they can get it done today so I booked a new flight based on knowing the health certificate can be done today. Guess what - It did not happen and I missed the second flight. If the USDA cannot provide the document on time per their standard process time, at least giving me an accurate ECD instead of giving a fake promise. I do not want to deal with this department in my life again.

Honestly. The best goverment agency i have ever dealt with. Getting the pet health certificate endorsed was a nightmare and super stressful. BUT the representatives and doctors at thos office were nothing but helpfull. After i couldnt get a straight answer from my vet i called the office directly, and they provided me with all the info. They said they would review it in a timely manner and poof 2 hours later completed! The vet dodging my calls about tracking.. called the aphis office and poof they told me fedex was coming and guaranteed it would be on the truck! Seriously they put me at ease and were super helpfull, and my vet who i paid thousands of dollars to to get this done was ignoring me. I wish every goverment agency could be like this one! Thanks again!

They are great people with really quick turnaround. I took my dog for a trip to Europe and needed to endorse my dog's health certificate. They did it in just three hours. I used electronic VEHCS (veterinary export health certificate) to speed up the process (no need to ship papers). I wish all US government offices would work that quick and professional.
