My Son attended school from a baby to pre K at Kindercare. From management, cook and all the fabulous teachers I highly recommend Kindercare. They all really care. Thank you so much for all you do!!❤️

My family had a terrible experience with Kindercare and I recommend placing your child in a different place or situation. My son attended here for I believe two years and it was a headache on a good day and a cause for concern on some of the worst days. This center feels it is ok to punish children by withholding food and screaming at infants to stop crying. When I would not stop bringing this up and finally put it into writing the center expelled my child, blaming it on his behavior. The teachers Miss Casey and Miss Julie in the pre-K classroom were not allowing my son to eat with the other children to punish him. Both of them were not sent home or put on administrative leave, nothing happened to the teachers. I recommended they be terminated due to withholding food and placing my son at the table with all other children to be used as a public example as punishment, but I was told that was not within my authority to demand. I also witnessed a teacher continuously screaming at an infant to stop crying at them one morning while standing out in the waiting room. The director Melissa proceeded to sit in her office and do nothing until I said something. The screaming teacher could be clearly heard throughout the hallways. All Melissa did after I said something was get out of her chair, open the infant's room door and tell the teacher people could hear her screaming at the infant. I left for work upset by this incident and received a call from Melissa an hour or two later essentially groveling for me to not let this tarnish my image of the institution and ensuring me it would never happen again. That teacher was also allowed to continue employment and not sent home. Now, I have spoken with the regional director Kevin Ross regarding these incidents, and he sees nothing wrong with the behaviors displayed by his "teachers". Mr. Ross' response to my written complaint was to shut me up by kicking my family out of the institution. I had already placed my son in another institution and removed him from Kindercare the week prior to our meeting. I had the sit-down meeting with Kevin Ross and Melissa in hopes of opening the regional director's eyes to the terrible and neglectful behaviors their director and "teachers" are engaging in.There is a festering problem in this institution, and I believe it stems from most teachers and directors running the classrooms have their own children in attendance. There is a conflict of interest at hand. How can they hold their staff accountable i.e. administrative leave or termination, when they have to maintain teacher to student ratio numbers of 10:1? Any one of those teachers gets caught doing something neglectful and illegal they cannot keep that room open until hiring someone new. Therefore, there are no consequences for the teachers, they punish the students for acting as children do.These are just the incidents I have personally witnessed. I can only imagine what is happening while parent's backs are turned. I intentionally waited to write a review until my son was no longer in attendance for fear of retaliation. Which was confirmed when I wrote an email of complaint and Kevin Ross swiftly blamed my child's behavior.Guarantee 90% of the 5-star reviews you see are in response to them begging parents to leave a positive review online so the parents can get their name in a raffle for a free cast iron pan or a Starbucks gift card. I would think twice prior to placing your child in their care.

Best daycare. My son was abused by a staff member at another daycare (little flowers) and we immediately pulled him and got him into KinderCare. It’s now been a year since we switched and my kids love it so much. My daughter talks about her teachers and friends daily. I’m so sad that my daughter only has one more year but thankfully my son has a few more. I recommend this place for anyone who is looking around for a new or first time daycare! Rae and Melissa give so much love and support to all their families it’s truly a blessing to be able to send my kids there.

Took my 4 year old daughter here for daycare after moving to Lacey. It was really hard to find a suitable place for my very social and energetic daughter ! They were patient, worked with all of us when she had her standard 4 year old girl tantrums! They have been so gracious and a godsend ! Would highly recommend to anyone!!

My son has gone here since he was 4 months old. He is now three and loves his daycare so much! The staff has always comforted him when he was having a hard day or a hard time at drop off in the morning and it makes me feel so much better knowing that I'm leaving him in good hands. West Olympia KinderCare has always had good communication with me too, they give me daily updates at pickup how his day went and how well he's doing with his potty training. I will truly be sad when he has to leave to start kindergarten. Thank you being a daycare I can trust and for all you do!

The teachers here truly care so much about our son. We love getting pictures and updates daily and what a great connection he has with his teachers. The hours they are available also makes balancing work with child care so much easier.

Love this daycare! The staff is always saying hello and goodbye! I have been with KinderCare for a couple of months now. My son started in the infant room and moved to the toddler room not long after starting, and I love this center and all staff. The teachers and staff always make sure to keep me up to date on day to day activities and never fail to notify me of any occurrences. I highly recommend this center to any parents struggling with leaving their children in the care of others.

My kiddos have been attending this daycare for the last 2ish years. The director has always addressed concerns with compassion and a solution that felt appropriate. The teachers are hands on and always willing to help my kiddos no matter what the need. My 2 year old is able to count to 12 and recite the ABCs. This place treats you like family and I have never had such a positive experience with a childcare provider!

My husband and I did a tour for the infant room because were expecting our 1st child. When we got there we rang the doorbell 3 times because no one was coming to the door and there was people standing right by the door talking. The assistant director then opens the door for us and the first thing she says to us is there's a doorbell right there. Her saying that is making me think the doorbell actually doesn't work but she seen us standing outside for about 3-5 mins and didn't even bother to come answer the door. She shows the infant room and was talking so fast that we couldn't catch anything she was saying, our tour lasted 5 mins and then she walked us out to the front door. I've never felt so rushed for a tour this is a place I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing my baby to especially since it's my first child. I wasn’t very happy with my experience

I have been taking my two kids to this center for 3+ years and am extremely happy with the care and support they provide. I love that the staff know my whole family and that they love kids. My kids run into their arms and give hugs at drop off and pick up, and I have peace of mind knowing they are loved, supported, and well cared for every day. They also do a great job teaching my children basics- such as phonics, colors, numbers, and how to respect and love others.

My girls have been going to the West Oly. Kindercare for an accumulative of 5 years and an additional 2 years prior at a location north of Seattle. The staff at West Oly. are top notch. They treat your children as if they are their own. They think outside of the box and address each child as an individual. They go above and beyond to meet your childs health, safety, and learning needs. My kids are always excited to see their teachers and friends. My oldest who is now in elementary school is still excited to go see her old teachers when we pick up her younger sister. I highly recommend this location for your children.
