I’ve been picking up antidepressants and treatment for my psychiatric illnesses for about a year now and all the staff i have met have been exceptional, the PharmD counsels are mildly helpful and I never really got the guts to tell him how i’m really feeling each time. Though, one of my friends’ exes works tech there so it does make it awkward sometimes.

You know a little phone etiquette goes a long way along with compassion!! People come to you sick and in pain and some maybe even dying they need their medications. People deserve compassion and dignity from their pharmacy I for one do!! I called to get my medication and the way the girl answered the phone YEAH and the phone call went downhill from there i mean terrible i would give this pharmacy a zero if I could

I have never had a problem at Safeway Pharmacy in Orting. I love the people and they always have my pills ready!

Phone isn’t answered often.
So many times I’ve been told my script will be ready in about an hour- I go in & they don’t even have it. Ridiculous.

Terrible service, the wait time is beyond unacceptable. Even calling, if they answer, they don't say their name, you have to ask who you are speaking to. Very unprofessional and they have no phone experience or manners!

Do not use this place if you need the prescription in a timely manner!
Goodluck getting anyone to answer the phone. When I finally confirmed the prescription they said an hour. 3 hours later still not ready.

I went to get a flu shot and the lady was EXTREMELY rude and declined me to get a flu shot even though I have insurance. Ridiculous

I have been going to this pharmacy for sometime back 20 years ago. There was an amazing guy that worked there now it has never been the same. It has gone from bad to worse. I get there busy small town that has grown extremely fast. but I can't call on the phone and ask a few questions without rude behavior let alone the behavior you get in person is absolutely ridiculous. I would give this place zero stars if it was an option. Safeway in Orting pharmacy is the worst pharmacy ever, all I wanted to do was get a flu shot, I did not realize I could use my app and the way she spoke to me. let's just say I ended up hanging up on her. When I said, could I make an appointment for a flu shot and what do I need to bring with me my insurance? I'm assuming Anything else in particular? She goes you want me to make the appointment you can make it online or on the app.
her tone was very rude as if I was stupid. I have dealt with customer service for years and I have had so many bad experiences at this pharmacy and I keep thinking let's give them another chance it's home. and every single time I do that I regret it because they are so rude if you hate your job so much and get a different job. I'm done hands-down done giving that place chances.

I ran from the urgent care to grab antibiotics for the child. I came to the window at 6 pm, right when it was supposed to close. And the lady rudely!!!! said, "Mam, it's 6:01, we are closed." Can you imagine my frustration with such treatment?. It's not like I was lazy to come earlier. We had an appointment scheduled that ended almost at 6. And I cannot transfer medication to another pharmacy, because clinic closed at 6pm as well. Now my kiddo has to struggle till tomorrow.

This happened when I was 16, dying of leukopenia & related conditions, but I noticed that my honest review has been deleted.Doctor sends a few prescription orders to Safeway. I call the Pharmacy to pick up, nurse (or whatever) on the other end of the line lacked tact. She tells me even though it’s been 3 hours after they told me my Rx would be filled, I won’t be able to pick up (my life saving, directly death-delaying medication) that day. Her tone was rude and not just unpleasant (because people can have bad days), but downright unprofessional. She was nasty and I call my Dr office and relay to them the message I was given, and my patient advocate nurse decides to arrange a 3 way call with the Pharmacy, herself, and myself.So I call again, asking Pharmacy to give me the reason I “cannot” pick up my meds. Same lady picks up, is rude yet again. My Patient Advocate Nurse speaks up and all of a sudden the tone of Pharmacy lady changes. “Oh. We actually CAN get you your meds ? please come in soon [Id been waiting in the parking lot for hours at this point] We can full your prescription RIGHT now?!”Girl. Hate to break it to you,I am not a dimwit.The only change made was it was a 3way call. There was no difference in what I asked for, or anything. I just was obviously taken very lightly and had I not bothered to advocate for myself (and my nurse vouches for me). It’s been years but people in Orting need to know this Pharmacy is A S S. 0/10 if i could.

Called to transfer my prescription close to my house in Orting. The Man who helped me was absolutely rude, short and made me feel like I was bothering him. Terrible customer service. I work as a CSR in the service industry and he definitely needs better phone training.

I dont usually give reviews but this was necessary. As a former customer service worker, I've had so much patience for the pharmacists especially during a rush but when mistakes and repetitive prolonged wait times happen every time I visit, it's a problem. Too often I've been told a wait time, then when I come back they say "oh it'll be another hour" or more. One time was told "it'll be ready at some point today" refusing to give me an estimation even though I very much need my medication at a specific time.. and i show up early trying to avoid long wait times but it doesn't help. They also make a lot of mistakes with the scripts and don't listen very well so youll have to repeat yourself a lot if you want them to remember something.. Don't use this pharmacy if you heavily rely on your medications. They don't care if your inconvenienced by something they did.
