“I love these folks. Great quality produce. I visit their stand at The Ballard Farmers Market, and honestly their peppers during pepper season are one of the highlights of the calendar year for me.
The downside is their peppers make store-purchased peppers nearly inedible in comparison, and I love sweet peppers in tortillas, so for most of the year I’m stuck waiting for the all-too-brief pepper season ?”
“My lady friend and I were traveling with our two grandkids taking them back to Zillah when we needed to make a quick rest stop. I turned around and came to the Hiway Fruit Texaco. There was a sign on the door stating "No Public Restrooms". I went in and the gal behind the counter referred us to be who I figured was the owner. He led us back to the employee restroom. I know he didn't have to do this but he showed grace in a unpleasent situation. Thank you so very much for your kindness to someone you didn't know. “Quicking loading , no overnight parking that I was aware of , couple truck stops that in the area only the TA has free parking in Grandview . Ground can be a bit sticky and dirty fyi don't wear your good clothes .”
