Over priced food and treats. Seemingly very popular judging by the # of people in the store, but if you just want something simple and small to eat to tide you over, this isn't the place. And the menu boards are not backlit with lots of reflection on them making them hard to read. I was told this was a "must stop" - next time I will keep driving by.

The business model has not adjusted well post-COVID. This place has an Amish/Mennonite country market vibe. Sweets, ice cream, etc. But the pricing vs quality is so out of bounds for the average person. The quality has gone down to minimum possible with prices skyrocketing.
Two dry sandwiches, no sides provided, paper plates and wax paper, one soda. Just about $32.00.
We have been to this place off and on for over 10 years but I would recommend against eating there now.

Been comin' here for 20+, and this was the first time we've ordered sandwiches. All good! They're priced accordingly for 2025, but meats were robust, and flavors were great---just as put together by their young kitchen staff with no modifications. Kudos to them. All the staff are friendly, and they always have been. For as many times as we stop here on trips, I'd grab another few sams. Their house Tamales are great, too. Good ol' Country Mercantile...

Been coming here for years. Food prep and taste seems to have gone downhill a bit. Prices up, taste suffers. I don't get it.

Cute place. Old lettuce in the salad I ordered. The chocolates were amazing though.

Great place to visit. I had the brisket sandwich which was OK. The store has so many options it's a lot of fun. Always a good way to hang out.

Used to be one of my favorite places to stop. This visit was marred by super loud muzak and by strong smell of lysol/pinesol present in the dining area, as an employee was running loud vacuum cleaner and doing other cleaning chores. For the price of $14, I "enjoyed" pinesol-flavored enchiladas, and the nasty chemical taste is still lingering. Very disappointing.

It was a fun experience getting to browse all of their selections. If you like chocolate this place is a winner.

I have to admit, the kids LOVE stopping here because it means the get to pick their own assorted candy. Unfortunately it comes with a heavy price tag that just doesn't make sense; because of that I now avoid stopping here.

Just left this place after taking our family of 12 to the Harvest festival. What a waste of money!!! The employees outside were horrible. The tacos tasted like they were made with old beef jerky, we couldn't even eat them. The atmosphere wasn't fun, and our one year old grandson found a switchblade in the corn pit!!!!! We were so impressed last year that we decided to go back to the festival this year but we will be returning to Middleton's in the future. I don't know if this place is under new management or what is happening out there to drive it to such a bad experience but no thank you! Take your money and run!

Place is amazing, incredible selection! One really really horrible thing. There isn't enough time in a day to see everything!
