Honestly everything was “ok” up until I realized I never received a copy of my tax return. The gentleman that assisted me charged me $350 because I was a new customer asking for detailed tax return, which whatever, I guess it made sense, they have to make a living some way. A few months after I filed with them I suffered an injury, I applied for financial assistance but when they requested a copy of my taxes I went through the folder that I took when I filed with ProTaxes and realized I never received my copy (sure my fault for not asking for one at the time of service but take in note the fact that I was charged so much, I was shocked at the moment and didn’t think of asking for a copy) so I called the office to ask for a copy and I found out that they charge $50 more to walk to their computer, take about 5 mins to find the client name and print out the form. No thank you, I just went through the IRS website, they only charge $30. Sure, it sucks that I had to pay but what sucks more is that I won’t return to ProTaxes. Thank you for your service.

I have been doing my personal and business taxes with Yolanda for the past 4 years…she is extremely knowledgeable and very detailed…she is very patient and always answers all my questions…she makes sure I get the most out if my return and charges a fair price for the preparation…Yolanda helps me out a lot by working around my busy schedule (my last accountant didn’t care about meeting deadlines)…it’s great to feel that Yolanda cares about her clients…I highly recommend her…her and her staff always do great work!!! Thank you Yolanda for taking great care of our personal and business needs!!!

I do not recommend them… they do not help you solve anything and they charge you. The person who attended to me
I would ask something and I would ask someone else and it seemed like she didn't know anything. I spoke to another place and they solved the problem. They definitely just steal your money and don't help you.

They’re mostly interested in doing business taxes. I had scheduled an appointment for personal taxes and they tried for a whole month to reschedule. They called me at-least once a week and kept asking me to go in as a walk in instead. Day before they called 3 times to give me three different appt times (obviously just wanting me to cancel). So be careful if you’re doing your personal taxes here because if they have a business they want to do they will prioritize them over you. I used to do my taxes here and the lady was very kind but lately they have became very unprofessional. They should just let the customer know they’re uninterested in their service. Giving them 3 starts because the account we worked with was very pleasant but the receptionist seemed like she had no idea what hour to book me for.

I been doing my taxes here for the last 4 years and never had a problem. Yolanda and her staff Understood my situation and helped me get the best return every year . Their new location is awesome much bigger and really Pleasant environment. I do recommend doing an appointment with time these tax preparers are in high demand on tax season but once your turn they take care of you.
