The food area does not have produce or a butcher, and there is no pharmacy. The bathroom requires a key, which is considered odd. The store has a Walmart or chain store feel, lacking a small town aesthetic. Some find the soda prices very deceptive, warning others to watch them. A common frustration is the very tiring process of looking for a cashier who also acts as a stocker. While self-checkouts are closed due to high theft, despite having cameras, a suggestion is to add an attendant to oversee sales tasks. The hope is that the store helps people save money they would have spent elsewhere, allowing them to patronize other local businesses for gaps in Dollar General's selection.
