Brown's Outdoor is a great local gem and family-owned outdoors store in Port Angeles, carrying an excellent selection of high quality products, clothing, and gear. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and kind. They stock lasting items at fair prices and are a perfect stop for last minute needs or a resource for the local area and Olympic National Park. They have very wonderful clearance sales every year.

Guys behind the counter were very knowledgeable, and happy to help, they explained how to use trekking poles and didn't talk down to us at all which makes a world of difference!

My hiking shoes crapped out while we were visiting Olympic National Park. These guys saved my butt! Got some Salomon X Ultra 360 with the help of the attendant. Super comfy shoes and only $120. Yay for local spots like this one!!!
