“This was an unexpected hidden gem of a hotel! The grounds and lobby are gorgeous, staff are amazing and rooms are spotless. The breakfast was a perfect addition and the breakfast staff were especially amazing and made us feel so welcome. 10/10 we’ve stayed in some amazing hotels but this one made us feel like home. “We stayed here about a year ago (and thought we'd left a review but apparently not!!) and it was a wonderful experience. The location of the B&B is pretty central in Port Angeles and Caroline was so helpful with information about the area and recommendations. Our room was lovely, quiet, and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and can be adapted to your preferences if you ask (i.e., we should have said we didn't like mushrooms and she'd not have included them in one of the meals :D). I strongly recommend staying here if you're thinking of visiting Port Angeles or would like to see some of Olympic National Park as there is an entrance close by (although Olympic is quite big). This was an amazing experience and we will definitely stay here again whenever we get out to Port Angeles next!”

“My husband and I stayed here for two nights in the Forest Romance Cottage. It was such a beautiful and clean house, and our favorite part was definitely the heart jacuzzi tub. The attention to detail in the whole home is really amazing. The location was great too, set in the forest it was really quiet and peaceful. We were only about 15 minutes away from Port Angeles, and not too far from the parks and sights to see in the area. We used our breakfast tickets in the package to eat at the Chestnut Cottage in Port Angeles, which is another spot I'd highly recommend.”

“We booked this hotel because it was budget-friendly and Douglas the cat. He makes this hotel stand out and he was very sweet! The staff are friendly, our room was clean and we had a fun view of the mountains outside our window. The location is cozy and convenient. We already want to come back to Port Angeles and we would definitely stay here!Noteworthy details: Douglas the Cat :)”

“Not glamorous but a good place to just crash for a short period/night. Very clean & surprisingly quiet for being on the main drag. Close to Safeway, Wal-Mart & downtown. I did find the toilet in room "12" quite small and pink (lol). Also, there's a coffee stand very close just thru the parking lot.”

“Overall, it was a good room for the price comparatively speaking. We found the staff very pleasant and accommodating, but unfortunately, though the pictures on the website indicate the presence of a breakfast to be available, be aware they no longer offer ANY breakfast. Sorry folks, but the misleading of any sort of breakfast was disappointing.”

“God is good yall. Look what he created. Such a beautiful lake. Surrounded by a rainforest of green tall cedars and hemlock and ferns. Feels like I'm transported back in time to Jurrasic Park. This lake has it all. The mountains, the blue hues of that lake, the sunsets, the outdoor activities and animals. What's not to like about this stunning location. Enjoy the views.”

“The Fairmount has NEW OWNERS and the place is very clean and well maintained.. It is a budget motel and is not in anyway like most economy dumps. The place was recently refurbished so everything is pretty fresh. Prices are very reasonable. Fred Ross”

“Chose this since last lodging available when we scheduled our trip last minute. Area feels safe. It was well kept up and clean, although a little dated. But you can tell they are trying to keep it modern. New paint in nice colors, bathroom looks fairly modern, newer bedspreads. If you look at details like corners, you can see place is worn, but in a fix, it is fine. Like most motels, the office closes and staff goes home for night. They do have a Coke machine that also has waterIt feels clean and safe.”

“Location 3x! Downtown shops and restaurants 4 blocks, ferry to Canada 6 blocks, Fiesta Jalisco Mexican cuisine one block, Swains General Store (must see), Post Office to get stamps and mail postcards one block.The Ocean breeze was grand, two blocks east to Francis St and down to the coastal trail. Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge road entrance, 1.8 miles. It’s like the Swiss Alps up there!David, a courteous and efficient manager, took great care of us during our stay. Wifi and TV worked just fine. Updated rooms and a new paint job this year. Our go to in P.A.Walkability: Four blocks to downtown. One block to Swains General Store. Two blocks to USPS. Five bocks to the Victoria BC ferry.”

“Small hotel in the center of Port Angeles, within walking distance of the Bella Italia restaurant.We stayed there for one night and the room was very decent for that.Small downside for the water in the shower which was much too hot and we couldn't fix it. The front door also let in quite a bit of cold air.On the other hand, the owner at reception was adorable!! She even opened the door for us when we accidentally left the key in the room.It was quite convenient to have the sink separate from the bathroom.I recommend.”

“Staff is absolutely amazing! Rooms are very cozy and super clean! They also are pet friendly which is great when you have a big fluffy dog like I do! Stayed 2 weeks and enjoyed every day of it!”
