McPhee's Grocery is a local convenience store with a twist. It is a cute little store in a convenient location, carrying the usual basics and necessities. However, it offers a wonderful and amazing selection of goods. The store is a smorgasbord of exotic candies, snacks, and hard-to-find international foods, including many Japanese, Asian, and Russian items. It also features a mini Daiso-class selection and a beverage section full of specialty imports and microbrews. This makes it a must-stop for travelers heading up the mountain or for locals, providing an unexpected joy.
We come to Port Angeles every year. Every year we have to come to “Papa’s store”. That is how my granddaughter’s see McPhees. If you’re looking for some normal stuff, you’ll find the basics here.
