Not good Service lady helping me was very short and seemed to be very much in a hurry yet the lady before her took her time they chitchatted for about a minute. The lady did not have to pay for her stuff there and when I finally got the order the cashier/deli girl told me that I would have to pay for it there at the deli although the other girl that she was chatting with didn’t have to pay there and got a lot more than I did didn’t have any sauce I had to pay $100 bill then she didn’t even count it back to me. She just threw my money at me pretty much , I only go there when I have to, and hope it won’t be for a while that Safeway, rundown and ghetto

So went to safeway yesterday to order a cake and a crash cake which I was told was free and I could have any design put on it went to go pick it up and was told I know had to pay 15 for the crash cake and the employee behind the counter was the same who helped me yesterday couldn't even give me the curtesy of a phone call to apologize that he had made a mistake but no I will never be ordering cakes from this bakery having employees tell you one thing and then not honoring it this store used to be great

They have ill placed sensors for their anti theft wheels on their shopping carts. This caused me to tweak my back again when it suddenly stopped. Do not part near the parking lot borders and expect to make it all the way to your car.

I tried the Safeway drive up and go yesterday. What a pleasant surprise. Ordering on line was easy.. I received a text that my order was ready. I notified them through the app that I was on my way. I pulled into spot 4 in the drive up and go area and texted them, again through the app, that I had arrived. Within one minute, Sam, the smiling Safeway employee was standing at my window with a free bottle of water asking me where I wanted my groceries. All in all, one great experience as far as I'm concerned. I will definitely be using the Safeway drive up and go feature a lot more often. Especially if it's Sam bringing out my groceries.. Big shout out to her...

Since my disability has gotten worse I am unable to venture out much, infact, when/if I am able to get to the store, I almost always just stay in the vehicle. Update,,, Thanks to my medical team I am able to get around a bit better and Thanks to SAFEWAY for continuing to have disability parking.

Restroom was in a terrible state. Dirty, plumbing fixtures barely draining. Had similar feedback from some traveling with me who used women's room.

Good selection of items that you can't find at Walmart. Overpriced everywhere so check the app for sales. Staff is rude behind the deli, they could use some training on customer interaction, or take up a job where you aren't forced to deal with the general public. As someone who works with the public myself, nothing irks me more than people who go out of their way to act miserable to those around them.
