Shadow Mountain RV Park Campground is under new management, which is working to improve everything. It offers great tent camping sites and consistent full hookups with amazing mountain and Lake Sutherland views. The general store is stocked with last-minute items and the coffee is great. The staff provides stellar, super friendly, and helpful customer service. The location is closest to Olympic National Park, just steps away, and near Lake Crescent, hiking, and Port Angeles. Some notes mention that certain sites can be next to a noisy highway and that bathroom facilities have been a concern, though the shower area has been remodeled.
I stayed here 2 nights with a friend and it was great! The campsite is well kept up and very cute. The bathrooms are what you’d expect for a campsite public bathroom. Cristy in the general store was very helpful, and Tim helped me and my friend start our fire. The surrounding are is very beautiful with great views.

I didn’t have the chance to stay at the campground but the lovely owners and team there helped us out when we were in a bind while on a road trip. Super friendly and helpful team. I hope to get the opportunity to stay next time!
